I now have them all and currently am using the Thorn, PI is probably the best idea say but it's nice to have them all
 
Super Good Advice is a really good machine gun.
 
Just got a legendary sniper and an exotic heavy machine gun in half a 'vault of glass' play through! This being after having to buy my entire legendary armor set, and buying an exotic helmet. I have only found 1 legendary engram, and i have had 2 rare engrams turn into legendary gear (both of which became the same warlock helmet), so yeah, finally some luck!

I'm interested in trying it out with the new buff. The recoil was pretty crazy before, but it was still a damn good gun.

The recoil wasn't a big deal because ammo only depleted if you actually hit something.

At the time it just wasnt as good as my Legendary machine gun. It didnt have as much impact as the Super Good advice, but it had an 150 round mag and had no recoil whatsoever. It's rate of fire was a full, coupled with a large mag and no recoil it was a beast.
 
The one thing I don't like about the Super Good Advice is that you can only carry 139 rounds for it. That's not even 3 magazine's worth.

Thats another thing I disliked, the small mag and full ammo capacity. Mine gets only three full mags, but thats 150 each mag. It actually lasts a long time. Thinking about it, I probably will just stick to the one I currently have.
 
I wouldn't say 58 rounds/mag is small. It's just that 150 rounds/mag is abnormally large. I certainly wouldn't buy a Super Good Advice. It's not worth spending rare coins over. I got mine from a bounty.

True, I suppose that gun has just spoiled me :lol:

I got mine from a bounty as well, so its not a loss for me. I can just hand it off to a new character.
 
I still find mine useful, but I currently don't have it equipped because I'm trying to level up another weapon. I got the Gjallarhorn exotic rocket launcher from a legendary engram the other day.

The Culling from the Future War Cult. I got it from an engram so I'm not sure how different it'll be compared to the other. I know I said no recoil, but it does have a little. The thing is, with its perk it gets more controllable the longer its fired, and with 150 rounds it can be fired a long time :lol:

Sounds like the one I have too, The Prestige, it's the New Monarchy machine gun, perfect for the raid!

SGA is much improved since the buff tho, but imo tho whole point of a heavy machine gun is loads of continuous fire!

EDIT maybe it's not then! But yeah, check the New Monarchy one tho :)
 
I also have the legendary Deviant-A or something from a drop. It only has 30 rounds/mag. I haven't gotten around to using it, even to try it out.
 
Nice guys. I have the prestige machine gun but not the Culling. Got lots of legendary machine guns.:lol: I want to get Thunderlord.

It will be quite dumb if they fxxx up the players that weren’t lucky enough to get a set of raid gear. At least make it 29 that is possible without raid gear.

Also this is interesting. Not sure what to think of it.
upgrading an Exotic in this way will require an Exotic Shard

From what I've read it is only open to lvl 30 players, however the vanguard master and factions will have new armour available which will take you to 30 so you can pick it up there if you still need it.
 
I've heard it's open to level 28, but the enemies will be level 30 towards the end, like in the Vault of Glass. You may need a level 30 to lead, but I think anyone over 28 can enter.

In other news, I received possibly the worst Nightfall/Weekly rewards ever. Some awful bullet hose legendary auto rifle and 2 rare engrams. Definitely not worth the time I spent clearing them.

Any time should be good for me, but I haven't made arrangements regarding whether I'm going to be here all day/night Tuesday, if the renovation is going to start, etc.

So the earliest I'll probably be able to give an absolute answer is probably the day of.

Possibly, but I think we are running some new guys through normal first. We did the same last night, took through a 25 and 2 26's who had never done it. Went well but took 2 1/2 hours.

We are also doing a Flawless attempt on Saturday. We have the spots filled but if you or anyone want to give it a shot we may need alternates. Right now we have around 10 people who want to try it so there will be multiple attempts for sure. I'm confident we can achieve it and I want to help anyone who wants it attempt it.

Is Brockstyles on your friends list? If not add him. He and some of my core group have been running raids earlier in the night, usually around 8 eastern, before I can get on.
