Devil May Cry 4 (360 version) Demo is up on the marketplace!

Just wondering if anyone is as excited for this game as I am? The demo is currently available for DL from the marketplace. I will have to check it out tonight when I get home.

That demo was excellent. The graphics were very impressive especially the top challenge where you had to go through the city and kill as many enemies within 10 minutes.

My only question is how the heck do you get the left trigger charge to work? I would hold it down then the gauge went up, after that I hit the Y button to attack and it didnt seem any stronger.

Also did anyone manage to beat the main enemy in the bottom challenge? I got his energy all the way down a couple times then ended up dying. His graphics were also very impressive.

I will buy this game for sure. If you liked any of the other DMC games then you will want this one for sure.

I've played it on both the PS3 and 360, and am pretty impressed. I'm glad they kept all the controls almost identical to the previous versions. I've only played it a couple of times on the first challenge so far, so I haven't fought the main boss properly yet. This might possibly be a good purchase.

I'd probably buy it for the PS3 though since it feels better using its controller, plus the lighting is a tad better.

I played the PS3 demo, it seems the game's mechanics have migrated very smoothly from the PS2 version. I tried both missions , I almost beat the boss (three heavy attacks would've finished him.) The series' trademark style is definitely still here (mocking the boss, attack diologue, etc.) I'll either rent this, or buy it when the price drops a bit.

I bought it yesterday for the 360 and was having a great time up until level 3. That part with the spiked ceiling where you have to warp all around that room got extremely frustrating. Actually there is another level where this warping didnt seem to work real well. Every time I fell down I had to fight all the enemies again, run all the way to the top, then try it all over again. After about 30 minutes of this I was about to bring the game back. Luckily I stuck with it and finished the level. Still very frustrating. The graphics are VERY impressive. Some of the best graphics I have seen on the 360. Right up there with GOW graphics. The gameplay is very smooth and its the most fun part of the game. I would say everyone should at least rent it. My opinion may change when I get further in the game but at this point rent it to see if you like it.
