I don't think it's a viable option. Don't quote me, but I would be surprised if it were.

Xport works great, for cheap! Do a search on the forum site for that and MKS or GEditor, and you'll come up with a whole new dimension to the game.

Have I been hallucinating or can we actually get the Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VTT JGTC Race Car! in Gran Turismo 3!!! (I'm being specific so that I won't be disapointed) I'm not an IGN insider so could someone who is just post me a reply on how to get it cause damn, I'd love to get a hold of one of those nice-ass sports cars!:eek: ->:D ->:mischievous:

make sure you have an NSX in the first slot. put in these codes first.

Seeing you're in Hiroshima Japan, which version of GT3 are you playing??? I've heard that the Diablo is readily available in the NTSC Japanese Version. It's "Hidden" in the NTSC North America Version & Not Available at all in the PAL version...UB57

ok if your using an American version, use those codes, if your in japan, you just simply win it. if i remember correctly it was in the Zonda race, but the picture was replaced with a c12s

Well, in know what a gameshark is, but an X-port?
I'm sorry, but I'm the type of gamer that doesn't realy use codes so i'm not too familiar with the X-port. :embarrassed:dd
 
I dont think this has been mentioned, but i just got a new 16 MB memory card for christmas, but it also comes with a disk, and is similar to a gameshark. The disk has previously saved games, and GT3 was one of them, so i downloaded it on to my new memory card, and played with it. To my surprise i found the Diablo, a yellow GT3, and a neon green Supra. The memory card cost like $20 which is less than all those cheat things, and it also doubles as a memory card. And for everyone who said the diablo handled like crap, its a little loose in the rear, but with stock settings, i would take it over any car except the F1's.
 
Its called max memory, but dont use it when u play a game online, cuz even if u dont have cheats, they still can ban you, i was locked out of Socom 2 for a few hours for "cheating" when all i was doing was using the memory card

He's serious. I just bought it at Best Buy for about $24.
You load the software, select GT3 amongst the games listed, and you'll see the GT3 Save. Copied it to a card from the MaxCD, then, traded for it from my normal saved card. I think the cost was a little over a mill credits.

Now, I just have to tune the thing.

You cannot get the body of the Diablo on a PAL version. At all. Ever.

Do you know just how many times this exact question has been asked?
 
The cars chassis and engine is still on the PAL disk, but not the body, so you can have a car that drives just like the Diablo, but it will look like whatever else, the standard body is the Daihatsu Mira. You'll have to go into the Game shark forums though if you want more info and do a search there because it's all been answered before.
 
i just checked the first page of this thread and the site listed dosent come in some i kind of cluelees. Not to sound like D!ck but can some one please fill me in,,..... Thinks to self..... Sumone is surely going to **** on me for asking this this.
 
In which game versions can I get the Diablo JGTC?
NTSC/Japan - the car is available through normal play as a prize car.
NTSC/North America - the car is unavailable through normal play, but can be accessed through other means.
PAL - the car body is totally unavailable, but the chassis and engine are available through other means.

What "other means"?:
1. Cheat Cart: Using a cheat cartridge, such as Gameshark/Codebreaker/Equaliser/Action Replay, you can enter specific codes (described two pages ago) which will replace the first car in your garage with the Diablo, BUT you can only do this on NTSC versions. On the PAL version, the car will "be" the Diablo, but look like a Daihatsu Cuore.
2. Xport/Sharkport: Upload your garage to the PC via the Port (they are both the same product - don't worry about the different names). Then, by using mk's GT3gEdit facility (found in my signature) you can edit the garage so that it includes the Diablo (use the guide in my signature to find out how). Save the garage and download it back to the PS2 memory card with your port. Again on the PAL version the car will "be" the Diablo but look like a Daihatsu Cuore.

There is NOTHING you can do to get the body of the Diablo in a PAL version of the game.

The exact same facts above apply to the Porsche 996 911 GT3, Lancia Stratos and Alitalia-liveried Stratos Rally Car.

Yes. That's what "chipping" your PS2 will do - allow you to play NTSC games.

However, with GT4: Prologue coming out here in the next month, and a hopefully-standardised GT4 coming out in the next 6 months, do you really want to spend the money chipping your PS2 - not to mention invalidating any warranty you may have.
 
ok im probably going to get the sharkport/xport tomorow, but what do i need. I have mksgt3edit guide and i will soon have the shatkport/xport. Do i hvae to download all the files for the cars or are the in the gt3edit guide. And why can i just lug a USB into my comp from my playstation2 . Will my comp read it.
 
Right... one question at a time...

You need the Xport/Sharkport and mk's GT3gEdit programme. That's IT. My guide should make it all simpler.

The programme contains all the cars and all the data.

You cannot plug a USB lead into the PC from the PS2 - well you can but it won't do anything at all.
