Sorry if this is slightly off-topic. I saw my very first Subaru SVX today (quite good looking car i must say) and wondered if anyone here could put the rarity in relation? i know it's at least semi-rare but that's about it ;)

i also spotted a Porsche convertible i wasn't able to recognize as i only saw it's rear end which looked a little bit like an Alfa (if that makes any sense) and had a pretty big P O R S C H E "logo" between it's rear lights? Overall it looked early 90s-ish, any idea which one it could have been?

Like so?

Probably a 964

Make sure you let us know in the future then so we can laugh. 👍

Are you kidding? It was obvious he wouldn't write in having seen an Acura Legend. Hence the also obvious joke.

Dammit Toronado just tell us what you saw!

bennyrrr

Nice spot! That's a 308 GTS not GTI, but you're on target, and thanks for the picture. 👍 M6 too. Isn't the three-wheeled thing a T-Rex?

Thanks. I also spotted a old Volvo coupe. Ill get the pic off my Digi cam when i get a chance.

Nope. Not a T-Rex. I saw the badge, I read the badge, just cant remeber the name!

That Ferrari was spotted at a USED car dealer. Along with a Porsche 928, and 2 other Ferraris. One racer, and one other street one. I think it was a 328

Did it look exactly like it, different color, or of the general shape?

Pretty much exactly like it. Same color, same stripes, same side pipe location, same lights on the front, same hood style, etc. Pretty cool spotting.

Your looking into the use of the word "legend" a little too much. It wasn't so much "legendary" as it was stupidly rare. I think it would be quite a stretch to even call it a "good" car.
And if I saw an F50 I would have immediately driven back to where it was and taken pictures of it after I got back from school.

Like so?

928.
Or maybe a 968:

I only say this because they look quite similar and I don't think you could get a 928 Cabriolet.

bah... 968 is what I meant to say when I said 964 (which I guess must be a 911 model because I know I heard it somwhere). they didn't make a topless 928, but I have seen several conversions.

I'm afraid it's none of those Porsches, the Porsche logos look about right, but those designs are a little bit too curved/round. I also forgot to mention it had a black soft top. Ah well, if nothing helps i will probably be able to take a look at it again in a few month, i spotted it in Stuttgart (not Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen though), it was parked in front of a hospital, on the parking space reserved for their doctor, so it will likely be still there. Oh yeah, i also remember i got a very short look at it's headlights and they were neither exactly the 911-style nor retractable ones. It also didn't have a rear wing nor a modell number, at least not as obvious as on that 968.

Edit 1: mhh after a little research the closest i find is the 968 but i am still not 100% sure

I've only ever seen one SVX in my life, and since I've seen at least... i dont know, 100?, Ferraris, I guess that makes it pretty rare...

Although, I can't picture someone bringing one to a car show, wheras Ferraris are like, essentials or something.
