I believe 2 A380s came to the U.S. today right? Some our news channels showed footage of it right next to it. Even the reporters were astonished at the size.

Here is a comparison of the A380 to the 747

I couldn't post it at the time since I was in Germany, but last week I saw a Weismann on the autobahn between Frankfurt and Karlsruhe, and we even overtook it in a Fiat Cinquecento :D (although he was pulling off the autobahn at the time...)

Off-topic, but I also saw an Airbus A380 on Saturday at Frankfurt Airport, it is about to make it's maiden flight to the US apparently... big plane

Was it a roadster? What colour/plates?

WOW!! it's no wonder the spruce goose couldn't get its big butt out of the water :scared:
is the ram SS/T the old V10? if I push that button do I get one?

The Ram SS/T was the old, non-Viperized V10, yes.

Yeah I remember that from test drive off road 2, actually a pretty damn fun game as far as career mode goes. I'm surprised how many SRT10s there are in this area, both 2 and 4 door models

i still thinnk this car is gorgeous, got some pics of her in better light, the camera on the Kg800 is quite good :D

My God those cars are beautiful. Every time I can get near one I have to get all touchy-feely. Well, not on the car, but, well.... Yeah. I just love the XK in any form, and being that its an XKR (pictured), its just amazing. When I had an opportunity to sit and tinker inside of one at the Chicago Auto Show, lets just say that I was more than excited over the car. I hadn't felt that nice in a car in quite a while...

I'm crossing my fingers that Grandpa considers the XK, but chances are that his Dutchness will override his money-spending abilities, and he'll go for the 'Vette or the G35 SC. Crap...

How rare we talking?

Probably depends on what part of the country you're talking about. You can seem every once in a while up here in Michigan, but in general, 'muscle trucks' never went over too well. Although, the Silverado SS sold well here...

So I take it Branson (A mini-Las Vegas place) wouldn't be a big place to catch one.

There may be a few around, its hard to say. Given that nearly everything around here is from Detroit, you're far more likely to see one here than in places like California or Florida.

...That said, I can think of a few times I've seen them, but more often than not, they are just treated as regular trucks around here...

Land Sea Air
did they ever use that motor in the larger trucks?

As M5Power said, yes. They were standard-fare in the HD trucks, the only other option being the high-power Cummins Turbodiesel. The whole V10 program goes all over, from the Viper to the HD trucks. They were essentially (at the time) the same design, the big difference being the use of Aluminum versus Iron.

No wheels on this baby I'm afraid and sorry that it's a little off topic, but she's really worth posting. I took this shot last friday and she is the prototype of 100 that will be produced in the near future.

Price tag = £1 million

A few things spotted today... But not many pictures. I'm still getting the hang of driving stick while operating a RAZR...

Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z51 with the competition gray wheels. Sweet. There were a lot of Corvettes out today, and I did see a Z06 at Vitale's (where most fancy cars are after 5:00 PM), as well as an '84 or '85 C4 Vette looking quite nice driving by my house just as I got out of my car.

In a "My truck is bigger than yours" moment, I caught a Hummer H3X and a Land Rover Range Rover HSE. Cool, I guess.

...There were other notables today, including the rather-rare VW New Beetle Turbo S. I've only seen a few, and I couldn't get the camera ready in time. Same can be said for the brand-new STi with dealer plates, and the C55 that was out today. Crap.

God those H3X's are everywhere around here, I think I saw 5 at school and probably 7 more on the road. I think GM gave them to everyone this month.

@ Verizon store: "and if you buy this plan with 1000 minutes you can get a free Hummer H3"

Hopefully, considering that the H3 starts at $28900 and the Range Rover next to it runs ~$75000.

True, but you know there are those big GM guys who think their Hummers are "teh ****."

I remember once, Land Rover invited us to see just how capable the Range Rover was, and I'll never forget it. They took us through a small off-road course of steep hills, and at the top of tallest hill, the car started to wobble back and forth, front to rear. Then after a couple seconds, the car positioned itself so it balanced solely on the rear left tire and the front right tire. I was freakin' amazed. And it just sat there. And when we started to move forward, the car pratically eased itself down.

I still can't believe how vertical those Range Rovers can get and how it managed to use only 2 tires to balance itself. I can't see a Hummer doing that.

Land Rover > Hummer and Jeep combined

These are from the weekend but my buddy just sent me the pictures. I know I'm lame .

SL65 AMG, I haven't seen one of these in a while.

The new Lexus IS-250, I have not seen one out side the auto show. I really like that car.
