Yeah, but why this one? Not most beautiful, not most successful and not rarest. Some typical Ferrari trickery.

I think a lot comes from it being considered hitting the perfect spot between being a great performing and handling car for the track and the road, being very beautiful, not too aggressive, not too handsome looking, coming from the peak of the golden era of car design (designed by Scaglietti which also isn’t unimportant), being a Ferrari and having a good racing history.
I think it just represents everything people love about Ferraris, and has a good portion of racing DNA in it, but at the same time it’s bridging the gap to the road cars too, and comes from an era in which Ferrari was still kind of fresh, was still building the legacy it has today, dominating in Motorsports.

That’s just my explanation for this.

I don't fault you for thinking the way you so, I think my wife would think exactly the same as you, she would say why would an old car cost so much, it's worthless and cost too much and is loud and is impractical....
