Cougar
100.jpg

Cool car, a pitty its Cragars are fake US Wheels knock-offs, but it sits sooo lowww... needs more tire outback. Whenever pople find cars as intresting, please take a shot of the front too!

Love the S2000 VashTheStampede, treat it well!

Thanks! I plan on it. I am so incredibly paranoid when it comes to parking it; I really go out of my way to park away from other people. I have about a dozen more pictures I need to add of the car, so watch out for them.

With that out of the way, a friend called me up last night to go out to the bar and at the bar was a Hennessey Venom 1000 Twin Turbo. It looked like the white car in the fifth picture on this page, Hennessey Venom 1000 Twin Turbo. I tried to take a picture of it with my phone, but it was too dark out and there was not enough light on the car for my phone to pick it up.

EDIT: Adding new pictures.

Again, go HERE for the rest.

No pic but i saw the new Challenger. Nothing great about it. Just a new look on the street.

I think the owner works at the auto shop it's parked at; I see it there a lot. If you want, I can try and get a shot of the front. It's just that I shot a different Cougar from the front a while back, so I changed it up with this one.

Honda S2000 from a while back, still dont see these as often as i'd like :|

Today:

Brabus Smart Roadster, this time in black.

BAJA BUG! Been trying to photograph this thing for years.

Black RS4, damn does it look good in black, needs powdercoated black rims tho :p

Dude get that shot then tell the guy his car needs real Cragars. You should really get us shots of the front and rear of any old or muscle car you come by, you always see such cars (:

Lets post some stuff:
First this Maverick, wich was pretty beat up, but it had those monster rear tires… six cylinder car but come on, what do you need to put a 302 in there?
ghg120.jpg

A VW Corniche, hahaha! Fun stuff, been a while since I last saw a VW converted into a rolls.
ghg115.jpg

A 1971 Chevelle wagon!!! This popped up a couple blocks from my house, it was in pretty good shape and is an über rare sight here because we had no Chevelle Wagons ever sold here; this seems to have a V8 underhood (probably 307) and the Iroc wheels help it out a lot; sadly, its gone now, replaced by a Monte Carlo -_-
ghg111.jpg

Superbly restored fin Mercedes, six cylinder model, it was beautiful, even if I normally don’t shoot these Mercs because they’re more or less common here:
ghg108.jpg

In front of the Merc was this mid-50s Chevy pickup with ugly billet wheels but that was in otherwise fine condition, it needs a mile-drop but it would be a solid foundation, just get it the lowdown then add Americans.
ghg106.jpg

Nope, we’re not looking at the Renault 18 tough you can if you want, but at the 1946 ford or Mercury coupe behind it:
ghg105.jpg

Then a little mid-60s Peugeot, so red and awesomely restored, very nice car of wich you see several around, but this is the nicest I’ve found.
ghg104.jpg

ghg103.jpg

Taken from a bus, older Merc SL chugging trough, two tone paint too:
ghg098.jpg

This Golf catched my eye, indeed it said 1.8T in the rear badge, so I was intrigued; I turned at the front and indeed a small intercooler peeked from beneath, so maybe this is really an engine-swapped Golf, and clean enough to deserve a snap.
ghg094.jpg

If you look really hard you can see the intercooler in the bottom of the car and the openings on the bumper to let fresh air in, all signs point to a turbo motor underneath:
ghg093.jpg

Alongside one another, first this tattered but complete 67 Mustang Coupe wearing a set of American Racing Vector knock-offs, manual trans car:
ghg091.jpg

Then this way rare here Hillman Mynx, wich were indeed sold but most turned to rust clouds long ago, this was pretty well preserved:
ghg090.jpg

Gargantuan 1957 Plymouth Belvedere four door missing front runners and severely neglected; chop it and add moon caps and four Strombergs to the V8 and off you go.
zssd027.jpg

A pair of Harleys, a cool white-walled stocker and a severely modified chopper style, check out the huge rear meat:

Now, someone with deep knowledge of European or german trucks, please help. I have not been able at all to identify this weird, enormous, crude and mean, very mean thing that popped up downtown one day, it’s COOOOOOOOOL as hell and one of the strangest spots I’ve ever recorded, please ID it if anyone can!:
yui009.jpg

Also an incredibly rare spot in Mexico, a Ford Consul! WTF is this thing doing here? The typical euro ford, these were never sold here (unlike Taunuses for example) and so is also one of the rarest spots ever:

And to continue with tradition, rice lives on:

BMW Z4 M Roadster.

A little later on that same road, that same Z4 M.

2,3 Minutes later again that Z4 M,and I see that he parks on the oter side
of the road.
He comes out his car and crosses the road and comes in my direction.
He asks me if I just took photos of his car and why.
I tell him that I take photos of cars to put on a Forum and I ask if I can take some other photos of his car.

Z4 M with AC Schnitzer wheels.Saw only 2 of these and it's the first time that
I can make photos.

Hummer.

BMW 1.

Also today.
I just wanted to make a photo of a SL500 when I saw a man with a kid from a good 5 year old with their bicycle on the cycle track and I see that kid drive on the road just when a car passed him,and an other car just behind that first car could just see him to avoid him.:scared:
I think my stomach turned around 5 times and my heartbeat was 200.

Can you please tell what it says on the front?
That would probably make it a lot easier :)

Okay so here are some more photos from the end of summer. I haven't been able to get out at all, and it's become a little too brisk for supercars. I've still been seeing the odd Gallardo, but I'm counting on STi's and BMWs sticking around all winter so I can get some snow shots.

I got sick of making these photos just how I want them, so I'm putting what I have up now. It's been a great learning experience, and I thank you all for the support, but it looks like it'll have to slow down over this cold winter.

I ran out of patience with getting this one good. I just got sloppy with the clone stamp getting rid of the sign and bikes and it ended up looking terrible.

a128.jpg

Meh.

I saw one just like this on Saturday(and it was on a dealer lot. I know, sorry!)
112_0711_13s+2008_shelby_GT500KR_mustang+front_three_quarter_view.jpg

The car looked pretty cool, but the wheels I thought was nasty. It was already sold, and the salesman said that buyer from Georgia(Atlanta?) sent them a check for something like $130K & change without even looking at a photo of the car. I guess it must be pretty limited, as the dealer is on the opposite corner of the country from the buyer, Oregon.

well, sadly the pic was originally taken as a 1024 with a pretty bad camera, but after some photoshop treatment I found it, its a Hanomag!!!! indeed a german vehicle, the make more famous for its military vehicles and tractors, but it even made some cars in the 30s!!! awesome (:

Exige, the GT3 picture is waaaaay cool, and the aston, even with the bikes, is very good. Vignetting maybe too much but it adds a lot to the picture. one thing you could do with the BG is to crop the entire brick wall and make it bigger enough to cover the entire stuff... nobody knows how big were the bricks, right? (:

if you dont find exotics on ice, maybe you could seek for some off roaders or get to do a photoshoot at last.

I'm interested in that beat up red and silver truck that looks like an Econoline but has Bronco taillights!

if you look closely it also has custom side windows and custom canceled rear doors (one pretty beat up) so it's what you could call a "mexicanism", hahaha

Hahaha, maybe, but I don't have much time to tinker with random shots anymore. The vignetting was intentional, but not post-produced. I used the shade from a tree to the left (see the leaves in the top left?), would've worked better without the rest of the junk in the shot. Meh!

When I went to play tennis, on the parking lot of the club there was the new Audi A4. I immediately fell in love with it. =)

The headlights are so menacing it's just too cool.

This car is practically the best you see here these days.
