Tell me guys, was there a special version of Jaguar XK (old generation - before 2007) released? I had an occassion to spot an XK Convertible a few days ago: deep purple color, brownish soft top, nearly matte gold rims. Any suggestions?

From what I know, there a Jag XKR 100 (500 made) and an XKR Silverstone (563 made) of the older (2002ish) XK model.

It's strange as most MR-2s here in Hong Kong have that snorkel fitted. I wonder if XLStress can tell us if it's the same in Singapore.

I have seen a few MR2 fitted with the snorkel/air scoop, which I believe is from TOM's.

Yes it did. I fixed in now though, it should do that anymore. I've been looking for one since they were first talked about.

Ya, they must be getting cheaper or something in the used market.

And the yellow Viper was almost certainly driven by my buddy since that's the project he's currently working on. I am really hoping he gets to bring one home at some point. I've seen it on the road a few times, but I haven;t been able to get a pic.

The previous DYSAGT thread just asked for people to say what they'd seen. It led to some pretty outlandish claims, and, well, rather devalued the whole thing.

So, now, we have a new thread, and new rules:

[*]Don't just state the name of the car. Give us a picture at least - even if it's a crap one from a camera phone. If you can't show us the car, how can we believe that you saw it?

So please, pics next time.
