Fairly badass Land Rover.

Supercharged C6. Only know it's supercharged since I spoke with the owner at a car show a few weeks back. Seen it again last night pulled over by the cops.

Snakeskin Green ACR. I heard a loud rev, then noticed some green, I quickly ran to the road (nearly stepped on a little kid in a group of other kids kicking rocks at an 07 GT500) and snapped this quickly.

Pic is a bit hard to see, but it's a Dodge Daytona, RWD swap, V8 (unsure, think it's a 383 Magnum or something), basically a full on drag car. Apparently he was cruising with his crew (which are all ricers) and his car broke down.

I got a lot of shots of it last year at a local Dodge show. I was hoping it was going to be at the same show last weekend, but alas, it wasn't. I'm glad it's actually being driven though.

Has taken me forever to get a handle on my pics of the last few years and have only just set up a flickr account to share some. Most of my "in the wild" spots have been taken with my phone as i'm a spotter foremost, though I take my camera to shows etc. and some of these will turn up in the other thread.

So forgive the random selection and often crummy quality and these aren't necessarily what i've seen "today" but thought I would still share, if anything will be working backwards as I dig more pics out, so these first ones are actually pretty recent. Will post in batches of 10 or so :)

Firstly, these were all spotted on my road or very close by, many more to come.

Old Austin Metro in good order, quite rare now

That's a GTC Speed actually. Speed versions are distinguishable by black grille :)

It's just a normal GTC with a black grill.
GTC Speeds had a dark grey grill (not black) and also notice the front bumper - the GTC Speed's is different - where the 'pillar' (don't know the best word to describe it) is closer to the edge of the bumper making the bottom grill larger. I think that's how you describe it...

Notice how the bumper pillar is symmetry to the first headlamp compared to the one spotted here.

^ Got your point, the front bumper is different. Strange in my case as there's no way I won't see a adifference between two cars...

Good thing you pointed it out. Thanks 👍

Yeah I think the tasteful owner Mr Nel6on personalised his car a little, those rims surely aren't standard and if that colour of roof is, i'm not liking it. Saw a much nicer diamond black conti today but couldn't get a piccy.

I learnt to drive in a red 4-door one :D

A girlfriend had one a loooong time ago and we actually slept in it when we went to a music festival, not the best plan we ever had. Horrible car actually! No wonder the Mini, which it was supposed to replace, outlived it.

This belongs to my parents' next door neighbour:

 I wish I was joking, it's been there for a while apparently and I saw it for the first time today when I went to see them.

What kind of car is it though? Looks more like a Carlton or something than a Jag. Strange car, interesting though!

It's a stretched Vauxhall Carlton, I believe. He's got Dunkin' Donuts listed as one of the sponsors on the door.

There are tons of cars like this driving around Woodstock, as well as a Viper club and a few Porsches that I've seen. I'll need to carry my camera more often around here :D
