I never knew the rear end of the Honda Legend looked like that. The size of it makes it look like a Kei car. As well as the taillights looking similar to the Beat. Woops!

Part of it is that you're viewing it straight on from the rear, and it's next to a wide supercar.

If that thing is real, that right there is the rarest, most extraordinary spot in your whole trip. Even more so tha n the Ferrari. It can always be a fake, but even so, fakes are rare. Everything else is quite cool. I love the 69 Mustang in Europe.

Agreed, especially if you live in France where there are about 100 million of the things. We were spared it in the UK, but we have the series 2, thankfully not accounting for about 1 in every 2 cars though

also, was really hoping for some feedback on this one in particular that I posted above:

When I look it up, the only Mercedes roadster in the 20's/30's was the SSK, which is a multi-million dollar car nowadays, and doesn't look like this very much. So I concluded either kit or something real that didn't turn up in my research. I'd really like to know if anybody else here has an opinion one way or the other.

👍 Spot on, and looks like kits are available, and again the real deal is worth $1M+.

The only thing still bugging me is the historic plates. If a kit car was built in the 70's or earlier, can it get a historic plate? (In Ohio it means cheaper annual registration/maybe free, but you can't drive it much or you'll get fined.)

How can I tell whether it's a real one or not?

If it helps, the rear of the car says DS21 and the little badge on the front left and right fenders say "Henri Chapron".

IMO it's a very cool car, and I would call it pretty good looking too. Each to their own though.
