Alright, I gotta ask a question here. What kind of car is that cute little green thing behind the black Mini? :p

:dunce: I never knew the rear end of the Honda Legend looked like that. The size of it makes it look like a Kei car. As well as the taillights looking similar to the Beat. Woops! :ouch:

Part of it is that you're viewing it straight on from the rear, and it's next to a wide supercar.

Welcome to the thread. This thread is for cars that you saw and took pictures of. Also, next time, please put a language warning for the video in your post.

I know what it is for... I am not dumb... I just needed to post that video somewhere
I don't see the need for a language warning, do you? and besides... We hear more bad words everyday then in that video (which I didn't recall having any...)

OMFFFFFFFFG A CITROEN DS RAGTOP!!!!!!!!

If that thing is real, that right there is the rarest, most extraordinary spot in your whole trip. Even more so tha n the Ferrari. It can always be a fake, but even so, fakes are rare. Everything else is quite cool. I love the 69 Mustang in Europe.

Then again, Doog's a Mini guy, so....

also, was really hoping for some feedback on this one in particular that I posted above:

mercedes 30's roadster unsure front by spotterjeff, on Flickr

When I look it up, the only Mercedes roadster in the 20's/30's was the SSK, which is a multi-million dollar car nowadays, and doesn't look like this very much. So I concluded either kit or something real that didn't turn up in my research. I'd really like to know if anybody else here has an opinion one way or the other.

I think it's a replica of a 500K/540K.

Certain things on the car don't match the original cars.

👍 Spot on, and looks like kits are available, and again the real deal is worth $1M+.

The only thing still bugging me is the historic plates. If a kit car was built in the 70's or earlier, can it get a historic plate? (In Ohio it means cheaper annual registration/maybe free, but you can't drive it much or you'll get fined.)

Maybe it's build on an old chassis. Leaving the car old, with a new body.

If only it had Dutch plates. Then I would know in an instant what car was used. :p

A few recents. All Instagram, so feel free to skip :D:

How can I tell whether it's a real one or not?

If it helps, the rear of the car says DS21 and the little badge on the front left and right fenders say "Henri Chapron".
