Just found an old photo. The car itself isn't interesting, but the paintjob is... sweet :dopey:

The plane represented is Tu-22M, I guess...

And check out the painting on this Lexus IS (not Altezza, 'coz this one is LHD).

OMG, the wheels are rusty :yuck:

They are odd but pretty awesome. I appreciate all the weird things Russia provides. It gives cool insight that's away from the norm.

What is it with Russia and mural painting on cars?

What, there are no such painted cars in other countries? That's weird. I think I saw photos of cars painted like this taken in USA, at least...

Well, yes, this thing is popular in Russia. There are some more cars carrying such pictures even near my house, but I don't even shoot them. I choose only the nicest to take photo of.
P.S. A military-looking car like UAZ isn't good if it hasn't been painted with camouflage. :D

Couple yesterday

I like the old lady in the passenger seat

coming up Fiskers lately, too bad the company isn't doing so well though

Nova? and sorry so blurry, that's a dog half out the rear window, looked cute going down the road

Not sure if this has to be posted here or in the "Questionable modifications" thread. I guess both are good. Dat Smart was quite "visible" from far away. :D

When I´m big I`m gonna be a race car!

You hit the nail right in the head, in Russie thwey are popular now, in about the entire worls they were popular like 5-10 years ago, that's why it seems so odd.

1968 Chevelle.

👍
The first one is Bel Air, right?

Yep, 1956.

Ah, so they are out of fashion? Yeah, I'm recalling even more such cars about 5 years ago. Now people are less fun with this.

My today's spots by the way:
Sticker-bombed Mitsubishi Colt

Mini Cooper S with a "John Cooper Works" badge (is it really a JCW?)

latest Cayenne GTS

Ford Focus ST. Should I post any more STs? They are becoming common and not so interesting...

Audi RS5. It turned out looking weird on this pic, I guess it's my camera having problems with shooting moving objects.

Some digital cameras (perhaps all but sometimes it's more obvious) map the image line-by-line from top to bottom (or bottom to top). Therefore if the object is moving quickly, it sometimes appears to "lean" in one direction, as by the time it scans lower down, the object has moved a little to the left or right.

This is expecially obvious with phone cameras. I have a few pics of cars in motion where the wheels "slant", a lot more obviously than in your pic :)

I was in California last weekend for a big car club meetup (that's why the last two are from down there). Pics will be on my Flickr sometime soon-ish (I took like >1K so working up the motivation to go through them and find the good ones is a little hard )

Some of these shots make me wriggle with excitement knowing people are even just using these cars every day. It's the sign of a true petrolhead and they all deserve medals! Great shots guys, keep up the spotting and keep up the great shots!

I hope to get some of my own soon.

I really want to start taking more photos with the camera my father gave me. (Older Canon EOS Kiss) If I stand at the top of a bridge and take photo's of cars below, do you guys think that I won't run into any legal troubles? Any discrete way of taking fantastic photo's. Don't want to draw too much attention to myself lol.

I did see something good today....or rather rode in it.

What is that?

My buddies 1976 Ford Mustang Cobra II. Has a mild 1984 302 (5.0L) in it and it's paired with a 4 speed manual. Needs a bit of interior work though, couple small rips in the seat, seat belt stuck and vinyl dash has some cracking but other than that it's all there. Rebuilt from the frame up. They are planning to swap in a 351 Windsor.

Front end stayed up in the air only coming down each shift and squealed the tires through 3rd gear no problem. She goes pretty good, handled pretty nicely even though there was just a little bit of play in the steering, it wasn't too bad. She did what we asked of her and did it with a grin. We didn't open it up too much, only a little bit to pass a guy and played a bit on the back roads but we stayed under the speed limit at all times because the driver (my friend) didn't need another ticket. I pulled up to my girlfriend in it and she freaked out haha. Literally everyone at school was staring at us in it haha. Couple of guys driving looked over and were like what is a couple of teenagers doing in that?

After today I will never knock a Mustang II again.

So I know this is a horrible post but felt like it should be mentioned.
I was on my way to work when I saw a big line if BMW's the only one I managed to get a picture of was the M6 in front of me. We were driving pretty fast he floored it on me when I was just following walked pretty good but didn't get a good run in. Once I got up next to the M6 he wouldn't look over(all I wanted to do was give um a thumbs up...) so I proceeded past the rest of them, about 15 if I were to guess of all different types old to brand new. Some were heavily modded, but as soon as I caught them they all took a off ramp so no time for pictures. Sorry.

I know that feel bro.
That R8 looks cool.
Yeah... I finally motivated myself to put them up.
I made a thread so if you want, you can check it out.

And that R8 does look cool  if only I was rich...

I don't see where you'd have an issue. Nothing wrong with taking photos  I doubt you'd even really need to be all that cloak-and-dagger about it, unless it's different over there. Around here, nobody really cares.

Often times people will give you looks, don't want to get in trouble with mafia, and they have a big problem with people doing up skirts on the streets and often times the police will ask to look at what photo's you have on your camera.

Yea, the Yakuza is/are (which is appropriate there...?) no joke, I wouldn't want to get in trouble with them either :scared: is that a real possibility just from taking photos...?

And the bolded part above: for real? That's actually a real problem?

Oh yeah, real big problem. Enough that at certain stations where it's more prevalent, they have signs on escalators that ask girls to make sure that nobody does that to you.
