all ready listed on the release notes.I noticed that while adding weight, it now shows weight distribution.
That's cumulative though... the patch enables someone using 'vanilla' GT5 1.00 to instantly obtain 1.10, the 308Mb includes everything that's been patched thus far.
I agree though, there's been a lot of 'unseen' work on the game and it's looking good!
They've definitely updated the lighting system in the graphics engine.
Maybe the lightning system has changed, but the cars are still too much reflecting....looks horrible at some points, normal car paints looks like chrome on some tracks.
I find it cool, that you don´t need to click on "home"-button to exit a menu or make a back step. Just press O and it makes a step backwards automatically. Navigation is much faster now.
A negative point, I ´ve found out is the navigation in setup-menu of the cars. It is totally painful to get to the "shopping card"-buttons for tuning parts. The cursor jumps from side to side till you get to the point after many tries.
I had the same problem. I can live with it though, it's much better than having to go to the tuning shop again.
They also added a 3.60 eboot to force a system update.

I've always had that functionality...?

Maybe it was added already with 1.09 (which I hadn´t installed, because I didn´t play the game for month).
But it for sure wasn´t there since the last time, I´ve played it. If you pressed O, the cursor switched to the Home-button to accept the menu exit.
Now just press O and it immediately exit the menu without accepting.
Another new feature: Sort your garage by performance points -then go to the settings screen of one of them. See how the performance points are completely different?
If they have improved the AI I couldn't really tell. I guess obviously not enough to change the seasonal events to a real race format (standing start on a grid) rather than keep the wierd rolling start from the back with 1s between each competitor. What format did they borrow that from again?
Rather than race suits & helmets, I have a novel idea for a racing game....
An event allows you to do practice, qualifying, and race format. (yes, yes with an option to skip & go straight to the race.)
With a normal grid start from the place you qualified.
Then do wheel to wheel battle with well crafted AI, and be punished with vehicle damage if you make a mistake & crash.
Then after the race you get money depending on your placing and perhaps a car prize for 1st place.
As if anyone would be crazy enough to include this sort of functionality in a racing game!![]()
I have yet to see an event with tripled prize money, though, unless they just meant the new set of seasonals? The Supercar seasonal and American Championship pay out the same as they did before... Shame, too, because I had a Pescarolo come up in the UCD and I was 1.1m short. If I'd found a well-paying race with tripled prize money I probably could have made that within four races!
Edit: oh, found them! The ones to the right of the Supercar seasonal have tripled rewards. Also I'm not sure if I just never noticed it but there's now a row of coloured dots at the bottom of the seasonal menu to show how many events there are and of what type. Wow, the Ferrari F1 seasonal gives 654,000 per race on the Eifel circuit, I wish I'd found this three races ago...
