Happy I'm not some wacko gamer with gazillion account playing one game and another gazillion playing another. I have one game (GT5) and one account and I'm getting this DLC because apparently it's tailor made for ME!

And to the OP: in English, please. Isn't HKG once a English colony. My god, my dog can speak better english than that :)

People with more than one account are not wacko gamers, you would have one too if you bought a game abroad (found good deal while on vacations) or moved to live in another country...

Oh, but I see from your comment you are a miserable xenophobic that cannot see beyond your mum's garden. So either shut up or say something useful to the topic.

Wait wait, usually I don't buy DLC for other games but I've heard some DLC can be shared to the your PS3 accounts if it's like that, guess what, it's PD/Sony fault.

How is that your business tho and if you would actually read the posts here you would know there are many reasons for having more than one. You just have no idea what you talking about it seems, PD defense on full force... .____.

Yeah, I corrected myself back there, I forgot that DLC I bought before worked how we want GT5's to.

Hopefully some pressure from GTP with all the multi account holders we have can make them reconsider.

Are you dumb???? what if you have a big family with low income- 3 brothers sharing a PS3 for example... they buy one disk and they can all have their game saves but to play the DLC they have to buy it 3 times.

Or this - you finish the game, and want to start over because you are waiting for GT6 to be release in about 10 years... and you dont want to loose all those cars and info... so you start another offline user (like I have on my PS3 to replay the games) and you cant play the game from the start with the DLC unless you buy it again.

Something sure as i said my CC company will get a call in ~1h from me saying that PSN is a fraud and asking it to be blocked.

I could in less that 2 second buy the item twice.... what kind of online store is that ?

Hey guys, is there any way for us GT5 players to write collective complaint to PD? From us who want to have the real DLC available, not that unlockable content with account limitations? Will it be effective to do such thing?


By the way, I think all current and future DLC content is actually already been installed with Spec 2.0, but is locked now, which is bull****.

Yeah I really second that and encurage ALL the other racing clubs with multiple accounts users to request they remove this nosense limitation. Because they are just stealing your money. Sony = EA. 👎

It seems PD is in another planet, dont they research how DLC is working on the PSN for other games? Why come up with some stupid system that causes so much trouble?

One PS3 for myself with account I share with my brother. I'm not caring because of the fanboy attitude and lack of reading and understanding of what is being said.

You know what I do get? Alot of people here do not know what acting decently means (have I ever questioned someones intelligence? No!)
 
My main GT5 account is from Argentina, as I like to race online under my own flag. I only have a US account for PSN purchasing purposes, because there's no PSN store in my country.

I actually purchased a U$20 psn card yesterday just for the DLC, that now is useless for me. I'm not willing to start over the game from scratch after almost a year of gameplay progress.

Although I'm not a hardcore gamer at all, I've never seen this kind of account lock limitation before. This is the first time I'm dissapointed with PD.
 
As said it's lock to:
- Account (country)
- Disk (region)

If you have a "strange mix" don't buy the DLC!!!!!

Actually, I came from a country very close to HKG ie. english wasn't my first language. Communication is a learned behaviour- if you want to be understood, you have to try and make sense. You do that by using the right word and the right grammar. Mine isn't perfect but at least I try.

Yes you did when you said you didnt get why do people have multiple accounts... I only have one account and two users (one with the account - my main with online) and one user with no account for offline replay of the finished games (I cant dupe if I dont have online on this account if thats what you are trying to suggest)
Why should I have to make another online account for my second user and buy the DLC again???

And there are other issues like people with EU accounts that moved to America... just because it isnt a problem for you doesnt mean its fair... and if you tryed to understand you would probably get it... you dont even understand that calling someone a fanboy is not acting decent when the one with a fanboy atitude is you by defending what clearly is injust from PDs part
 
People seem to be focusing on the account locking side of things and forgetting about the one of each only issue, which is just as bad from my point of view. One use paints and one of each car is ridiculous.

Leaving all that aside, I have to wait a whole week like everyone with a U.S account for the DLC. Will it even work since my copy is EURO? what is this region locking crap? I can downloaded DLC from my Japanese account and get to use it on my U.S account. Mentioned this in another thread too...I'm pissed off.

I bought the DLC and it's not working cause of my US disc.....

I almost think thats worse than EA... but Im not sure.
Funny how they expect so many people to start over a one years worth of game progress just to buy some lame stuff (except Spa, which I'd still buy, if it was sold seperately).
