Finally, the interview helps shed some light on the large scale of downloadable content players can expect to be released for Gran Turismo 6 after its release, as Taku confirms that “at least one additional track per month will be downloadable.”

The above quote indicates we will be getting a new, DLC track every month for an unannounced amount of months.

Does this ""one per month" start from the release of GT6 ie first track released on January 6th?

I don't think anyone really knows anything, before the first DLC, or some more news regarding it, is released. I hope for a January 6th DLC "premiere" so to say, though.

I would almost bet that the new DLC track for May will be Interlagos as part of the Ayrton Senna content.

United States?
It's only the 30th here, and tomorrow would be the 31st and the day after tomorrow (Movie reference) would be January.
They were asking because the last time I checked you spell "Americains" Americans...........LOL

I do expect a DLC accouncement in the next couple of weeks, maybe along with the first big January patch.

Free would be cool but I would pay for some decent tracks especially if we get a leaderboard system to post our times on.

I am really hoping that our first DLC track will be either El Capitan or Seattle Circuit

I would expect to pay for any new content - tracks from previous GT's I would hope to be free. Wishful thinking probably.

I'm more excited for a possible huge patch that fixes the wheel width glitch and hopefully fixes some car sounds. I still haven't learned the new tracks, so I'm not really waiting for a a track based DLC.

And remember PD still owes us the track editor ;)

I just hope if there are new tracks they come with events besides seasonals(There is hope considering they have added events already).

As for cost, $3-5 is acceptable in my view.

I think that's fair. I just hope they won't charge us for the Course Maker, for an example. They announced it so early it's kinda weird to charge extra. Senna stuff probably won't be free, but that's fine by me since I want it badly, hehe

Ive had a theory.

The Red Bull X challenges have a message saying the last two events will be available Jan 1st.

Therefore I believe we will get something as a New Year's DLC. It's nearly a month after launch and it makes total sense to include DLC in an update (which is going to be necessary on Jan 1; there is no way that the events were in the last update or they would already be available.)

I need opinions on this theory however..

I think they are already in game. GT6 time checks every time you turn it on. If your XMB clock is wrong it tells you to fix it. I think it'll unlock the moment the game sees January 1st.

My point is why would they have it locked? It's not like a car that hasn't been revealed yet like the BMW M4. There's no reason for it to simply be waiting for an electronic key to unlock it. Why would they put it in the game with the other events but not have it available yet? I don't think it's in the game yet, it wouldn't make sense to be in the game yet.

Probably knew they were going on break for a few weeks and wanted to keep us busy longer by dragging it out. Kind of like the GT academy...

Word. I just want to get my hands on that track editor...

I disagree with that.. Because it isn't GT Academy or any competition. If they're going to keep us playing they're going to want to release more than just 2 events. That'll hardly be a headline.

How did dragging out the GT academy help? Only the one round mattered and even after that we got those other races that didn't matter.
It's not meant to keep you busy until 6 months from now. Just until they get back to work and add the next VGT or new seasonal.

We'll see. I'll be surprised if all we get on the first are those two events though.
