so your not allowed to allowed to have a discussion now? i dont see anyone cursing or anything, so whats the problem?

You can play 2 player on the Las Vegas strip?
If not how did you get 2 cars on the track? The machine test only involves one car.

obviously it is done with photoshop
if GT4 allows 2 players playing strip , they shouldn't share the same lane btw

yes hondas suck, that pic coukd be right from the start, any car will beat it in the long run, except for u know the dihatsu midget ha, but seriously, front wheel drive cars are not ment for racing, and hondas sound like bumble bees when they r driving down the street

incubusnb
Hondas themselves don't suck, the attitudes of 90% of Honda owners suck!

👍

Exactly. I don't mind Civics/S2000 as the car by itself, but once the owner starts strutting this "junk", that's where my hatred of the brand comes in. Especially how they think that their Civic is the only Civic in the entire world that has a rim/exhaust/tail light combo.

Guess what: Its been done before.

And not too mention, when I did have my '97 Celica with a few mods on it, it seemed that at every stoplight that I hit, there'd be some "God-I'm-So-Hot" Civic Riceboy looking over at me as if I wanted to race him. I didn't mod my car for speed, idiot. If they had any knowledge of cars, they'd know right off the bat that their car would beat mine straight stock to stock, so why even race? :ouch:

So once again let me state my case:

Honda cars are cool; Honda drivers aren't**

**:From my experiences

The Honda owners that ruin it for the rest of us are the 16-25 year old kids. These are the guys out there droppin $50 intakes and $40 exhausts on their cars and thinking they have something. Myself (like the guy who posted the picks of the accord and s-2000) I'm a weekend racer. I like to go to the drag strip and run anyone. I have only about 5K into the car (not counting purchase price) but nothing brings more joy than laying waste to some guys 30K Mustang. Or even dropping the hammer of that Civic against some guys Integra. Tuner is what I like to call myself, Ricer is what I call the kid across the street, that 2 years later is still talking about buying that b-18c....

i like honda's...just not ricey ones... japanese cars last forever if you treat them well. there is nothing wrong with an affordable car made to run well even if it lacks a bit of power... i mean, i'd much rather own a Subaru STI or a Mitsubishi EVO VIII, however, i haven't decided which yet...cause the subi' has more power, but the EVO has a bit more handling finesse...so i don't know. but a car is a car, and it doesn't always have to be bad ass to get from point A to B. but i don't like ricey cars... spend the money on engine mods that do something, not stereos or stickers or poorly bondo-d rice kits.

my parent's have a 2004 honda civic type-R and let me tell you the thing is ****ing amazing when you wind it over 6,000 RPM the thing screams like a hyperactive child all the way to 8,500 RPM , and whoever said honda's suck they don't at the mo in the U.K the type-R civic has tons of street cred and many people buy it because it has the essence of a classic hot hatch and the engine is fantastic , everytime my dad floors it right up to the limiter i cant stop myself from grinning like a mad idiot so eat that person who says honda's suck and prey you dont meet me in a dark alley at night 🤬 🤬

I love the S2000, the Integra DC2, the Civic EQ and of course the NSX. The only Hondas that i've seen that have been riced are Civics. You dont seem to see many S2000s or DC2s in the UK. I've seen more ricey skylines than civics in Brighton (my home town). Some jerk has bought a GT-S and stuck gt-r badges on it but has forgotten to take the gts badges off the side. It has Stupidly big flairy, shiny wheels on it and is in white with the decals and vinyls that the gt-r in '2 fast too furious' has on it. It's the second most ricey car i've ever seen. The riciest one i've seen is a mark 4 Ford Escort (not Cosworth) in maroon with a lime green dragon on the roof and doors. In England most of the ricers have Ford Fiestas and Citroen Saxos. I'm not gonna give up on my favourite car manufacturer and pretend to like a different one more just because some losers think having a £80 exhaust and a big sticker on the doors makes them a real man.

Nice Celica...this is what I'm talking about. A great looking Japanese car without all the idiotic coffee can exhausts, stickers, hideous light combinations, fake badges, and god-awful rim chioces. I like your car...nice work. 👍 God forbid a Civic owner to actually spent hard earned money to modify the engine and get a decent set of rims and nothing else...they don't do that around here. Infact EVERY Honda in the Honda lineup gets "riced" here...even the local Oddessy ricer who riced his mother's mini-van! Unless it's a real (and I mean a REAL) Type-R with a REAL turbo I own every one of these hideous ricers with my stock SE-R. If they get lucky and take me in a straight line I most always pass them again in the corners because those kiddies can't really drive--it's always funny to point out to these kiddies that I've taken some SCCA/Rally driving lessons and they couldn't catch me if they tried. When you can get sideways at 65mph around a bend and straighten like nothing they usually give up or say "wow" as I slow down and let them pass me when I'm done "F'ing" around. But, really, I agree with the statement that Honda owners are the ones that suck...but after the last decade of the rising ricer population I've grown a hatred for this manufacturer and I do have a closed mind that won't open on Hondas until the ricers stop ricing thier Hondas out. It's an epidemic for Japanese cars in general to get riced around here...but by far the Hondas outnumber the rest. The Japanese cars that seem to get spared by the most part are mine (SE-R) and 3000GT VR4's. And it's not just Civics so you understand...I've seen quite a few riced S2000's, Integras/RSX's, and even Acura TL/CL's. I usually drive decently polite until I get harrassed by these teenagers and thus rip them a new one. 👍 My patience is somewhat limited. So to make it clear, I hate Civics, and most Honda owners (which usually means I'll tell people I hate Hondas in general). If you're a nice person and do the formentioned things I talked about that isn't rice then props to you. 👍

Bring that $hit to Colorado. I wish I was where you are. My 97 hatch would spank that (SE-R) like a pimp smackin a ho.

I agree.

I haven't been in a while, and maybe should, but I used to do some Saturday night drag strip races.

I've put in between $12K-$15K into my car, and with 430 horses, I'd glady put a ricer in his place...at the strip. I haven't been there since the new supercharger, but I plan on going soon.
Luckily, the number of ricers has died down from the day Saturday Night Strip started since now, its proved that there are a great number of high-powered muscle cars.

Wow. Attitude of some of the members in this thread are amazing. I used to drive '98 Accord with H&R, cone-filter intake, and custom wheels. This, according to some of you, are because I'm an idiot and a ricer. Thanks for your opinion! I hoped to be cool like you, someday. 👍

I also disagree with the argument that Hondas suck because they are FWD, or because there are too many of them on the road. You don't like FWD cars? there's nothing wrong with that, but that doesn't make Honda or their cars suck. There are too many Civics on the road? Why is that? Did all these people buy Civics because Civics suck?

I start rolling my eyes when girls tries to tell things about people using signs/astrology. Judging people by what they drive............. how shallow is that?

McLaren F1GTR
What are you talking about?
So?

There's probably quite a few Civics out there that can pass many Skylines.

The guy who made this thread is saying how great Honda's are because he has a picture of a civic passing a skyline in a videogame, which isn't impressive.

SRV2LOW4ME
Nice picture...
Big Honda fan...I love my Prelude SRV in real life...nothing beats cruisin at 80 kph in 5th, gettin revved at by some fruit booter in a Ford Focus with a tomato soup can duct taped to his exhaust, and dropped it from 5th to 2nd, givin a quick spin of the tires and smokin him...ugh, I know God exists and he is a man, cause who else would have created VTEC...p.s. no, my car is not stock, before i start getting flamed and disbelieved

Riddle me this... what in the heck is a fruit booter?

I like Hondas, the best engines ever, and so they have a huge tuning potential. I want a CRX for my first car, In white.

Me too. I can start taking lessons in 7 months and 3 days. Cant wait!
If I dont get a CRX i'll probably try and get a Civic
EQ or maybe even an EK.

lol, rice?

thats the car i was talking about

Wow, I just threw up a little bit in the back of my throat and swallowed it again after looking at that pic. Here's what I want as my dream car (thinking realisticly...ish that is).
Definately my favourite car that I have in GT4:

And then i'd N/A tune the hell out of it and use it in weekend races.

Are they TE37s? I never quite understood why Honda never made a Type R model of the EQ. In my opinion it's the nicest one. The wheels on my one above are Ray's Engineering wheels too. I'm gonna try so hard to get one of those when i'm older.

my hondas have been doing very well competition.. 👍

who ever thought you can 3-wheel a big accord..

very agile and nimble in handling..

How much does it cost to run one of your cars in these competitions? i'd really like to do this sort of thing when i can drive (7 months and 3 days :sly: )
