Tell me, Do you listen to GT5's original tracks, or do you listen to you're own tracks.

I have my bgm on but not that high. I use my own tracks

Yes i use my own but i play online alot (not atmo obviously) so it doesn't play but when im doing A/Bspec i do.

One of the first things I do with any racing game is turning off all the music and background (non-car) noises during races.

I used to. Right now I'm using the game's music but I took out all the music by Daisuke something or something lol. His music seemed waaay too jazzy for me. There are some really good songs in there. I had to take out about half of the music because of that one Jazz musician mostly.

I was using my own music but turned it off completely so I can hear the engine notes to change gear. I find my laptimes are better without music.

I have some of my own tracks plotted in. Not neccesarily music that I listen to daily or even like, just music that fits well to racing.

I'm like those that turn music off. I prefer to concentrate on the car sounds because it allows me to shift without staring at the tachometer in tense moments where my eyes need to be on things around the car. Plus the sound of the engine is music enough for me.

I agree 100% 👍

Unless you're screwing around. I don't race with music on but I will if I'm just using the DS3 and doing anything. It's much better to scew around with music on.

I listen to my own music while racing. The default music doesn't cut it for me.

I turn the music off in all racing games. I drive better when it's just me and the car, music distracts me when I'm driving.

I've added my own bgm. I've got GT2's menu sounds and a mixture of songs for my race BGM (found the instrumental bartender and the theif from GT2!) It's weird hearing the music with HD cars on the screen. If only Tahiti Road was available to drive on:sly:

I try to keep the music set for the menu only, but when I'm running endurance races, I'll put on personal BGM so it keeps me from getting bored.

I have 6 playlists with 500+- tracks each. I listen to them in the menu only or if doing a long race and know the track well. Plus the Buttkicker does not jive real well with all the bass coming from the BGM. So for the most part, no I don't listen to BGM while racing.

Yes, but I just use the game's tracks. I have plenty of music I could use, but never cared enough to bother with it. At one point I got tired of the game's songs and turned the music off, but I started falling asleep during the NASCAR championship races and figured the music would help keep me awake.

(I sort of expect a response along the lines of "turn off driver aids and you won't fall asleep", but I do have all aids off, including ABS 0 and manual tranny, and never turn them on for any car, including the FGT.)

So that is what the helmet is for? To keep from bumping your noggin' when you doze off. I get it now.:)

I only use it in the menus. I like driving with only the sounds of the engine, I don't care if they sound like a Hoover. *cough* Tesla!
