Let me tell you something. If drifting is gone, that's okay. Because GT4 players will still want to slide out like they're running away from the police. What's the point of including rally cars if there's no rally racing? What's the point of including Le Mans race cars if you don't have challenging enough tracks to race them on? And do you think these drift cars are for show? Honestly, I think this thread is going to be either locked up or dead. The one point I can perhaps manufacture from this deal is that we haven't heard too much in the way of drifting. That's about the only excuse I can provide. But other than that, this is basically like throwing an interception in American football. Or giving the opposing team a score because you committed an Own Goal.
But if you want an answer, I'd say that it's not canned. The worst GT was GT2 because of so many lacked features. You know, like a drag car without a legitimate drag strip. And let's not forget all these other cars left out of nowhere thay you have to unlock. GT4 will succeed in the execution department in my view. Others may not like drifting, but I'm at least wanting to give it a try. I've practiced up with the Mazda RX-7 and the R34 Skyline in GT4, so I'm ready to give it a shot.
Don't be afraid to try new things in GT4. And there are plenty of new things to try out. Just wait for December, granted you're not in Australia or Europe or some other place where GT4 is delayed.
