Do you think PD listens to YOU?

Great list. All in all, I'm very satisfied with PD's response to many issues. I have a few from time to time, and improvements I'd like to see made, but overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

And there's still more to come! 👍
Same here. I've waited 18 months for us to be able to adjust the volume on the track :D . Seriously though, it saves me a lot of time and let's me use that time to pack a bowl or something. :sly:

If im thinking correctly, don't they have a new feature that lets you change the current song during the race?

Frankly i it seems like i read about it recently, can't remember if it's for custom soundtrack or not but i know i saw something about it!
Actually, I did too. I can't remember how or where I read it. I think it was a quick couple sentences post that glossed over it. How it is now, I don't see any way to skip songs without clicking Restart. Maybe on the controller so that you'd have to assign the function to a button.

It was under the news list or whatever that is on the top right of GT5's main menu (the place where you can choose arcade mode, GT mode, course editor and such) It was under update notice.

Oh, that! That was about problems people were having with the Custom BGM. It was about the file type of the songs or something.

Yea file type was one of them, and i don't remember what else was mentioned but i know the ability to change custom BGM was probly listed.

Are you referring to the option to adjust BGM volume levels during the race? Because that was a relatively recent change.

Just because they add alot of things that are common sense and should have been in from Day 1 doesn't mean they are listening. Yes, they added in game races saves. 7 years after it was requested in GT4.

I think they'd be crazy not to view these forums.

Does that mean they listen to us? Not necessarily. But I imagine that it's VERY difficult to read complaints and suggestions without them swirling in their minds (referring to PD).

Most of PD probably can't read English - no more than most of us can read Japanese -
so they are probably blissfully ignorant of all our Gt5 related disquiet. Sleeping (when they should be working) in their little makeshift hammocks, while Kaz is off living his child-hood dream. Go Kaz Racer, his car running on the distilled salty tears, of a million disappointed Gtfans :P
Seriously though, yes, considering the size of the site their English speaking staff must
check in every so often. It's free feedback after all.

Red = LOLOLOL :)

That was funny.

The PD developers could read these forums and then chuckle at some of the goofy hypotheses and wish list comments.

Could? I think it's likely. We know they visit, so why wouldn't they? I just hope they don't put much emphasis on the baseless bashing that sometimes goes on here.

Overall PD does a good job.

We would all like to think that there is someone representing PD keeping tabs on what the fans have to say. It seems like good business to me. I know that there are many fans sites and forums for different countries and one can only hope that we all have common interests and that PD is listening.

Previously we’ve seen you say things about weather, lighting, skidmarks, that you’d add them if you felt they added to gameplay. How much is this the case, compared to community pressure (from sites like GTPlanet) to add things?

“It’s probably evenly balanced”, said Kazunori. We’d interpret this as a borderline tacit (generally understood but silent) admission that our forums – and many other sites – form research for PD, especially with regards to features. We have, after all, seen a recent addition of real-time skidmarks and reverse lights in the latest demo builds, now that there is the software and hardware to achieve it.

Old news. But always interesting to reflect upon months later.

i dont think so, GT would be a lot better if they did
