So how exactly did this go from an acr to a veyron thread. lol it looks like every thread here goes a different direction after 5 posts lol

get 2 friends w/ vipers in your lounge on route x or ssr7 and have them drive side by side but not so fast you cannot catch them. stretch your transmission to top speed and drive in the slipstream of the two cars in front of you. I saw a guy get a red bull x1 to 396mph like this. I'm not sure it will work with a viper though.
 
set the max speed 2 clicks from the top and then set 6th gear 17 clicks to wichever makes it have a highwer top speed. (no I did'nt pull those out of my ass, those are what mine are set at.)

SOOOO you really want to know what the top speed for the Viper is, you really want to know I got it up to 371MPH. I was drafting three X1's so that means I have the fastest top speed viper as of right now. And it was the stock transmission. But I think it can go a little bit more faster. But you have to take off all the aerodynamics to even get close to that speed. Without drafting it goes like 240mph to 250mph.

I was even surprised myself, but after awhile it was starting to get boring. I did these the second day route X came out. Now I can't race in it because I don't have the dlc, but I'm going to get it today. People might think it a bunch of Bull:censored:.

No way it could go 371 mph. Unless you have the suspension trick, but it won't even go that far.

Well I know that I used stock trans but I have to check everything else on it to see my setup. I can't cause I'm in school right now.

That is bull you're talking about. Only the veyron and x1 series can hit 250 without tuning the transmission.

I was drafting x1's. My friend made his x1 hit about 400mph which made him break the sound barrier.

In the game I think its like 376mph you break the sound barrier. Look at youtube videos of that.

Once you pass ~340 the sound cannot load as fast as the map. It's quite a funny experience once you pass 340
