just thought id ask, Ive only used it from the events never used it in arcade. Is it worth getting into the track?

I love that track especially reversed. Either direction, it's a technical course where timing and good handling goes a long way. The best vehicle for the track for me is the Nissan GT-R although anything that handles corners well and with good acceleration will benefit from the tight and twisty turns. We've just finished an online comp on the course (reversed) with Lotus Elise. With an S2 tires, it becomes a challenge. Unfortunately, racing on the track is right now impossible or at least until there's private races.

Its mostly suzuka + fuji + daytona. But if the london track floats your boat then go for it.

I loved the London track for online, shame they no longer run it.

I mostly do personal testing and driving on Eiger but enjoy driving on Daytona, Fuji, Suzuka and HSR. London is my least favorite track really though I do enjoy a run on it every so often.

I've become a Suzuka-holic :P Online, offline, and every line in between :p. I find it a good place to test cars with (despite it being quite a long lap). At least until we get our hands on Tsukuba :D
I've raced online the odd one at Fuji too, but have never raced Daytona, HSR or London online. But i have done plenty of laps around Eiger offline for drifting (including GTHD).
I have raced on London offline a bit (mainly for the events), and it's not that i don't enjoy the circuit, i just prefer Suzuka :)

Ah, another Tsukuba-holic :D (many don't like Tsukuba). I test all my cars on Tsukuba and Nurburgring in GT4.

Often have a blast around London for a bit of fun, didn't know it had been online - had been wondering if it was going to be an online race. Hopefully it will come on again. Heaps of fun on that track:)

It's an awesomely technical track. Nothing beats the feeling of being able to string those quick corners on the back-half of the track perfectly, drifting up to the walls (without touching!) at nearly a hundred miles an hour.

And the last turn is a doozy. Every time we run that one, it's a game of who can find the fastest line through it.

London is my 2nd favourite track on Prologue, next to Eiger.

Funny though I love London, yet never done a lap of it in reverse. That might have to change later though ;)

I too have never gone round the reverse track, why I don't know.:dunce:time to rectify that methinks.

****snip**** ;)
I suppose that that's (^) what makes the world go round.....I personally strongly dislike (loath, actually) both of you favorite tracks.
:)

For me the main problem of this track, algon with HSR, is that because of no damage it makes it too forgiving. If there was damage the circuit would be a completely different story.

^^^+1 for that 👍 I'd add Eiger to that too. Falling off the side of a cliff would change things :p
IMHO, this applies to all the tracks, but of course to a lesser extent with Fuji and Suzuka- the kitty litter is a decent enough deterent.

Good point. I guess that's a legit reason to not like the track much, lol.

I like it with a nice small car, fun to rip around time trial in an Elise or a BMW 1-Series (or Tii).

The track feels a bit too perfect, so I can recognise London but it's too bright and clean. From a racing point of view the road surfaces don't seem to be modelled very well.

I have spent hours looking for the perfect line through those corners. I love it but it would be much more fun with car damage

No, I don't use it, easily the worst track in the game.

I can't see anything, there is no flow, it's just a set of 90 degree corners and the sweeping corners have no rhythm at all, it feels like you're fighting the flow, not going with it.

Terrible track that needs a revamp in GT5 or it should be put into PD's recycle bin and deleted.
