Does Anyone Watch Wrestling? (WWE, AEW, TNA, NWA, etc)

Its hard for me to work out what else they are doing to do to fill four hours other than what they have got, so many wrestlers will be taking part in the multi person elimination matches that there will be hardly anyone left...

They can make do without the Tag Team Survivor Series match. Since it is a 10-man Tag Team match, I don't expect it to be entertaining and will just be a cluster:censored:

Nevermind was wrong (disappointenly) the Smackdown Men and Women teams are now complete.

Granted Dolph Ziggler doing an open challenge to anyone on Raw will be very exciting to see and a great way to have title match on the card (even though the challenger will likely be Rusev). (Cruiserweight Championship will likely also be defended as the Cruiserweights aren't really involved in this)

Id expect both World titles to be defended at Survivor Series. At the very least, the WWE title should.

I can see why they'd give the Universal title a pass in terms of being defended. They shouldn't have another Rollins v Owens match for a while, and it also buys time for them in reintroducing HHH and keeping the build between him and Rollins going strong by the time 'Mania comes around.

Sadly you're wrong, AJ Styles is on Team Smackdown along with Dean Ambrose.

Dolph Ziggler and Brian Kendrick are the only champions not on any team.

Honestly, this concerns me, Survivor Series is a 4 Hour show, worried about pointless filler or matches being dragged on way longer than they should. (Though I'm not going to watch Lesnar vs. Goldberg, still doesn't interest me)

I'd expect them to do double duty then. It would come at a sacrifice of Dean purposely eliminating AJ early or vice versa though.

It seems like their overtrying to rebuild Survivor Series as a clash of the brands, like Bragging Rights was. If they want to do that , they need some big interbrand singles matches, Champion v Champion matches. I feel like with all these tag matches their either going to be really long, or as you said, there will be a bunch of filler.

Dean and Styles are scheduled for TLC so they aren't going to do double duty.

That's right, AJ Styles v Dean Ambrose TLC match for the WWE Title.

Well, The Undertaker will be appearing on the November 15th edition of Smackdown. This is the final Smackdown before Survivor Series, but it is also the 900th episode of the show, so it may just be a one off appearance. But from what I've read, it could also begin the build to Wrestlemania 33, which should be his last match.

Also news today that the Cruiserweights will get their own show on the Network called 205 Live.

I understand the decision as they aren't getting the excitement on Raw (though I really don't blame the audience for not getting into it, except of Brian Kendrick and TJ Perkins, the Cruiserweights have had 0 storyline between each other), though this still brings concern over roster size, especially if Cruiserweights will no longer support WWE PPVs

WWE currently on their twice-annual European tour and Raw will be from the SSC Hydro in Glasgow tonight, Chris Jericho was reportedly kicked off the tour bus after getting into a scrap with Sin Cara.

Raw was really good last night, some good segments with a good main event and the crowd were brilliant!

Smackdown last night was good, we had the long awaited Women's Championship match between Becky and Alexa which was really good, bit of an iffy finish but still a top quality match and i have been impressed with Alexa lately.

Also got some pretty big Survivor Series news, the Cruiserweight title will be defended with Kendrick going up against Smackdown's Kalisto and if Kalisto wins then Smackdown will get the ENTIRE Cruiserweight division from Raw.

Also some news regarding the singles Smackdown team for SS, Baron Corbin had a match v Kalisto last night and he hurt his knee when he slipped off the ring apron, i have no idea whether it is storyline or not or whether it was a botch or anything like that but now he is off the team, there is a replacement....but i wont spoil it!

Next week is Smackdown 900 with Undertaker's return, Edge returning with the Cutting Edge (guest unknown right now) and IC title match between Ziggler and Miz.

Since Smackdown is only a 2 Hour Show, I don't think they have time to fit the Cruiserweights, Raw is already struggling. So I don't think Kalisto is going to win (maybe by Baron Corbin interference).

So this week there is Raw tonight, Smackdown 900 tomorrow night, NXT Takeover Toronto Saturday and then Survivor Series on Sunday, a big week for the WWE and for Wrestling in general.

Some sad news out of the wrestling world today as Big Van Vader has announced that he only has 2 years left to live due to congestive heart failure. Let's hope Vader Time can go on for a few more years at least.

WWE needs to induct him into the Hall of Fame now, surely. It's wrong to think this way, but I'd rather see another Ultimate Warrior situation than see a Randy Savage situation...

Yeah. They better put Vader to the next HOF class. Or better yet along with Vader, induct the New Generation Era stars (excluding Diesel, Razor Ramon, Yokozuna, and Shawn Michaels since they're already been inducted) in the next HOF.

Raw was very meh last night but the final bit with the Survivor Series address was fun, no news from last night i dont think...

So it looks like Taker is back for one last full time run.

Hopefully it goes well, I'm just concerned for 'Takers health.

As am I, but I'm sure he wouldn't agree to something if he isn't physically fit for it. He's probably undergone a whole heap of physicals for WWE to prove he can still do it all regularly.

Good fun Smackdown i thought, not a massive surprise in the Miz is Champion again, i did think that Sami Zayn would win on Sunday but i dont really think that anymore. Stranger things have happened though.

Goldberg says he tweaked his right shoulder in that rubbish segment on Raw, and he says that he feels like crap, match still scheduled.........for now at least.

I actually want to see Goldberg vs. Lesnar be so bad. I think everyones hype for the match I'm not interested in being crushed would be a sight to see and read.

As for the IC Championship match, I really don't see any logic in Sami Zayn winning, as that would mean Raw gets 2 mid card titles and Smackdown has no mid card titles to fight over leaving the mid card to do absolutely nothing, its like in 2002 - 2008 (before the Divas Championship was introduced) when Smackdown has a Diva's Division even though they pretty much had not title.

I'm thinking it's gonna be a typical Lesnar squash match with Goldberg hitting his signature moves but Lesnar still wins maybe with a Paul heyman distraction.

Was supposed to post the NXT card but i forgot so here it is now, the show starts in 10 minutes!

Bobby Roode v Tye Dillinger

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic-Final
Authors Of Pain v TM61

NXT Tag Team Championship-2 Out Of 3 Falls
The Revival (c) v Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano

NXT Women's Championship
Asuka (c) v Mickie James

NXT Championship
Shinsuke Nakamura (c) v Samoa Joe

Good looking card, reckon that whoever loses that big title match will get the call to the main roster soon

Only match I liked was the Joe/ shinsuke one from the last takeover. Will probably watch the rematch and maybe Roodes match too.
