Right then, this is the final card for WrestleMania tonight, it might be a long-ish post, and here we go...

Kick-Off Show

Cruiserweight Championship

Neville (c) v Austin Aries

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Confirmed Participants:

Sami Zayn, Mojo Rawley, Apollo Crews, Curt Hawkins, Goldust, R-Truth, Primo, Epico, Curtis Axel, Jinder Mahal, Braun Strowman, Bo Dallas, Dolph Ziggler, The Uso's, Big Show, American Alpha, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Breezango, Mark Henry, Tian Bing and Killian Dain.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intercontinental Championship
Dean Ambrose (c) v Baron Corbin

Raw Tag Team Championship-Triple Threat Ladder Match
Gallows & Anderson (c) v Enzo & Big Cass v Cesaro & Sheamus

Shane McMahon v AJ Styles

John Cena & Nikki Bella v The Miz & Maryse

United States Championship
Chris Jericho (c) v Kevin Owens

Smackdown Women's Championship-Six Pack Challenge
Alexa Bliss (c) v Becky Lynch v Carmella v Natalya v Mickie James v Naomi

Non-Santioned Match
Seth Rollins v Triple H

Raw Women's Championship-Fatal Four Way Elimination Match
Bayley (c) v Charlotte v Nia Jax v Sasha Banks

WWE Championship
Bray Wyatt (c) v Randy Orton

The Undertaker v Roman Reigns

WWE Universal Championship
Goldberg (c) v Brock Lesnar

So that's the card, a couple of things, firstly the SD women's match was orginally on the pre-show but has now been moved to the main card, secondly a number of superstars have been removed from the Battle Royal including the likes of Titus O'Neil and Sin Cara with a few names added, the list I posted is up to date.

Whilst I have no idea what the match schedule is I am of the opinion the Goldberg v Lesnar will close the show.

There are rumours going around the Jim Ross has signed a deal with WWE to occasionally do some commentary and do a few shows for the Network, he may be the voice during Goldberg/Lesnar match tonight.

Another report stating the massive set cost the company $5 million.

One final thing, I saw NXT last night, thought the tag team title match was match of the night, main title match was good and newcomer Aleister Black was impressive, but nothing else really stood out for me, weakest Takeover yet?! I think so..

Goldberg Watch: Asuka has now not been pinned or submitted in 153 matches, two behind Bill Goldberg's record of 155. She currently has 3 losses/draws in which someone else was pinned in multi-person matches, thus keeping her streak in tact.

If Asuka works the next 3 NXT tapings before the next PPV and wins all three, then she will have broken Goldberg's record of 155 matches without a pin or a submission loss making her the most dominant superstar in WWE history.

Well, both of the pre-show matches were decent.

I wonder if Gronk ran that by the Pats? I'm going to guess no as they would have likely banned him from going.

Wrestlemania 33 Results:

1. Neville def. Austin Aries to retain the WWE Crusierweight championship

2. Mojo Rawley wins the Andre the Giant Battle Royal.

3. Dean Ambrose def. Baron Corbin to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship

1. AJ Styles def. Shane McMahon

New Champions have their matches underlined.

The show is likely going to close with Reigns v Undertaker, apparently to avoid a negative crowd reaction throughout the show if the match doesn't go to the liking of the fans.

Also, I see a lot of people are getting excited for Shane to jump off something huge, but honestly, I don't think he will. It's a normal singles match so they wouldn't be able to fight on the stage as it'd take longer than 10 seconds to get there. And jumping off the top of the canopy is out of the question as that is way too high.

EDIT: Damn... this is probably going to be Takers last match...

That may be the only time I'll ever enjoy an appearance by The New Day.

OMG! I was not expecting the Hardy Boyz!

I almost thought new day was gonna be in the match. Holy crap that pop was huge.

So they followed a great, unpredictable tag team match with a predictable, cringe-worthy one. :scared:

A small blip on an otherwise fantastic Wrestlemania right now. HHH V Rollins next...

Who on earth asked for Pitbull WWE?

Seriously bray what the hell   That was epic.

Three times now, it's getting stupid and cringey now.

Well, that's two blips now. Do question that booking a bit.

My night peaked. All else is nothingness now.

Waddle Dance Senpai noticed me!

Can't say I didn't see that outcome coming considering the match was pretty much made to allow Naomi into the match if she was cleared in time. Still was a solid match.

It's time for the Main Event of the evening! Undertaker vs Roman Reigns

Jim Ross will be calling the match, further pushing the fact this is Taker's last match... I ain't ready for his retirement just yet.

Wait what? No Holds Barred?!

That was depressing. Old Yella put to the slaughter. That's just depressing. Taker is done. And Reigns is still babyface

That was 🤬 awful.

I am beyond ****ing disgusted after seeing that.

That was rather depressing, I would have much rather seen something similar to what they did for Flair and have another legendary wrestler be their last match. The after-match stuff was just depressing because it feels like a piece of my childhood has died.

I get it. Taker is old school. He wanted to do it that way. But man, Taker is like that pet we all have growing up as a kid. And we love it to death, then eventually it starts getting older, slower, it develops a bit of a limp and all it wants to do is lay down. But all you want it to do is play with you. But it tries, and it just doesn't happen. The day rolls around where the inevitable happens... it gets sick and needs to be put down. All those memories come rushing back, and you just want it to keep on fighting but it doesn't happen. It's gone.

That is what this feels like.

EDIT: I still wish it wasn't Reigns though. Only be justified if he turns heel tomorrow night.

That's a significant part of my childhood, gone. I've been a fan of him since he was Mean Mark Callous in WCW in 1989. I've seen damn near every match he's been in and every repackaging of his character. For things to play out the way they did is unfulfilling, one because its Roman and this is only going to make the vitriol toward his character worsen, but because it's so painfully obvious what they're trying to do and it just isn't going to work; it hasn't worked for the past three years!

Every year you hear/read the rumors that 'Taker is finally going to retire and unless this is Mark Henry "retirement speech" levels of epic swerve, it's finally happened and I don't really like it.

#ThankYouTaker

Even though I started watching WWE post Attitude era, Taker was part of my childhood and thanks to the internet and WWE Network, I was able to watch his old matches including his Survivor Series debut match.

As for Roman.....you may have beaten him but the ring is still Taker's yard.

Once again thank you Mark "Undertaker" Callaway. :(:(:(

But hey at least we got the Hardys back in their half Broken state.

Seriously bray what the hell   That was epic.
Orton could just be a transitional champion like Cena so he could drop the title back to Wyatt then Harper.

Still what's wrong with the booking of Wyatt in WM? Do they hate someone in the Rotunda family? I doubt it.

And sorry for the double post.
