You haven't looked at the 20 million credit cars in the dealership....

More cars is never a bad thing...

...unless we're talking about adding 50+ variations of the Skyline that are essentially the same.

What would be best is to be able to have enough comparable vintage cars to race against. At the least, have enough of them to make a series out of them (ex. American Musclecars, 70's era Supercars, Classic Euro Hatchbacks, Best of the '50s, etc).

Wanna see more old school lemans race cars. Then we can have online races set up for lemans classic only.

People already do that with the Le Mans cars we already have, but I agree with you. I want a Porsche 959 :(

Yeah, there's definitely some room in each of those categories to get a DLC pack and/or an A-Spec championship event together.

Definitely agree.

I love older cars (as well as newer cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.; not the ricy plastic Japanese 🤬 ). They just have that feeling of true power and beauty.

We have a '73 Jeep CJ5, and hopefully I can drive it one day (after it's registered). Definitely needs some care, but it still runs good.

More cars please.

Dont care which era/year or if they are prem/standard.

Just more... Even an austin maxi!

mmm... Allegro Vanden Plas in 'old man' gold.... :dopey:

What I think GT needs is more of the kind of old cars that actually saw a lot of action back in the day, as well as in club events today. Especially 1966 and before. Examples?

Ford Mustang (pre-66), Lotus Cortina, Anglia 105E, Falcon, Hillman Imp, Austin Healey 3000, MGB, MG Midget, Jaguar E-Type Lightweight, AC Cobra (original), Ferrari 250GT SWB, Lola T70, Lotus 7, Lotus 11, Lotus Elite, Marcos 1800, Porsche 911, 928, Sunbeam Tiger, McLaren M1A/B, Elva Mk7, Maserati Tipo Birdcage, Ford Capri, BMW CSL (original "Batmobile")...aw, there's just too many

In fact, were it up to me, a good third of the cars in the game should be classics...

In fact, I'd make a whole different game dedicated to classic cars: Gran Turismo Pre-'79!

And just as important, they should all have realistic pricetags! Not ridiculous, Pebble Beach/Goodwood auction prices.

Where the frack are all the Aston Martin race cars?
It's the only manufacturer from the original GT which didn't have any race cars as of yet.

Yes I think it does, as well as have a few standard classics get the premium treatment.

I'd love my favorite car in there...1969 Yenko sYc Camaro :)

I'd also like to see some Impalas and Bel Airs.

Yes. It needs A LOT.

For example:

1930's Alfa Romeos
1930's Bugattis
Auto Union and Mercedes Silver Arrows

Yes, having an enlarged selection of classic cars would only enhance the collecting experience in GT5. I would love to see all of the 60's and early 70's muscle cars get the premium treatment, as well as some new muscle cars like the '64 Impala SS and the original Ford Mustang, rather than the '71 model or the Shelby version that we already have. I'd also love to see the Mercedes-Benz Motor Carriage make an appearance as well as the Ford Model T.
I'd also like to see some old Porsches, but, we all know that won't happen, as Ruf wasn't making their own vehicles back then. But I would like to see some variations of the Volkswagen Beetle added to the list. The old 1940's model just seems a little serious and drab. Painting it a ridiculous color only does so much.
Or how about some American classics like the Ford Thunderbird or the beautiful Buick Riviera. No, they're not particularly fast and they won't go around a corner, but we have plenty of slow cars in GT5 that don't corner well. Why not add some 50's and 60's automotive beauty to the mix?
Just my thoughts.

Needs a Porche 906... Oh wait, nevermind.

Needs the Shelby Cobra Daytona like in GT2, a premium E-Type (RM gives it a couple of little sponsors and a large white number circle (don't forget a custom race number, and the number goes right up to 999)

Needs a '69 Dodge Charger, and a '70 Camaro.

Maybe some classic Maserati race cars.

Premium Auto Union cars (or cars from that era, like in DTM/V8 Supercars/Toca Race Driver 3)

And lastly, Ferrari 250 GTO, and Testarossa

More new cars, instead of being GT3 and 4 over again, thank you. Old cars can be fun, but I think, personally, that the most popular ones (and most useable ones) are already in the game.

I don´t agree. There are minimum 2/3 of the most popular historic cars missing. GT5 has just a good selection for historic/ classic Rally and LeMans cars, but not Formula and touring cars.

Even though GT5 already has by far the largest selection of cars I've ever seen in a racing game, it could always have more.

It has, but it hasn´t the best selection. There are racing games out there with less than 70 cars, but a far better selection.

bit late discovering this thread but classic cars id like to see are:

original austin mini cooper
mg midget
mgb
austin healey
jaguar etype made premium
rally ford escort mk2

in addition to this id like more tracks added to practice mode and to be able to create your own races and to be able to put graphics on cars like stripes and race numbers

I would like to see some American cars from the 80s and 90s like the 5.0 Mustang, IROC-Z Camaro, Trans Am, etc.

The GT-series always needs more old, older, classic or youngtimer type of cars in my opinion but most of all I'd like to see some true vintage machines build between the 2 world wars.
Vintage Bugattis, Bentleys, Mercs, etc. or once famous brands of that period which don't exist anymore.

It's a period not only overlooked or ignored by PD (apart from including the Auto-Union and Model-T in GT4) but by almost all developers of driving/racing games, at least I can't name a game where they're included.
To be honest, it's not a period I'm normally particularly interested in but it would offer a driving experience currently not available, and a true challenge mastering these pre-war monsters on skinny tyres.

I'll always remember the moment when I was at an Italian-themed carshow/trackday with all sorts of classic and modern Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini cars including things like several F40's, an early Countach and the latest Murcielagos when all of a sudden an 'uninvited guest' came through a tunnel leading to the infield and produced a very loud and glorious sound upstaging all the other cars, everyone present looked to see what it was.
Turned out to be an early thirties straight-eight Bugatti sportscar, not the fastest, most exclusive or unique version Bugatti ever made but even a 'regular' Bugatti roadcar upstaged all other exotics by simply blipping the throttle in a small tunnel.

It would be great to see the original Model T. (After all, that vehicle did create the impact of cars for the masses).

But yes, some vintage racers such as the first F1's or the first Prototypes would be great.

Much more great classics from the 60s to 80s would be awesome. Older cars have more character than the electronic supported plastic-crap of modern days.

A great selection of famous historic race cars would be cool.

Thou shall not insult the cars of our days heathen, or I will unleash the dogs on yah! :sly:

i would also like to see a vintage race series for vintage race cars of the 1930//40s such as the bugatti and auto union

I think GT5 needs more older Honda Civics and Nissan Skylines.

Def need more muscle cars@

I really miss that awesome looking 1930's Audi Auto Union car from GT4.

What about the unsung heroes, like old RWD Volvos, Original Escort, anyone? And Opel Kadett C / Manta A/B, FB RX-7.. list goes on and on..

there's one car that's missing for me, adn it would be a late 60ies early 70ies GTO, there's the original one, from 64, but the later model is much more impressive and... my dad had one! so many old pictures

about older race cars, there is one big problem, and it's about getting your hands one one to model. But there is some seriously beautiful stock there

and why the hell do we have 2 first gen premium miata but no second gen one in premium?
the mazdaspeed model would be crazy to have.
i'm not a fan of the whole range of miata's, skylines and civic (more so when they are so similar in some cases) but the e generations of skylines got premiumed, but only 2 miatas

and the civics, where are the sporty coupes instead of hatchbacks. They had superb sales in north america and there is not a single one in the game?
