Does GT5 Need More OLD Cars?

I would like to see some American cars from the 80s and 90s like the 5.0 Mustang, IROC-Z Camaro, Trans Am, etc.

trans am and IROC-Z are both in the game, and i would like the original bmw dixon, 1930 bugatti, to have more muscle cars in the 60s and early70s

The Trans-Am isn't in GT5, but definitely deserves a place.

I never have figured out why they have 50+ Skylines, a whole bunch of Nissan Cubes, and a ton of Civics but they left out so many cars that people care about. I think they should keep it to 1 or 2 versions of each body style.

Volvo "The Saint" P1800 would be nice...

Neither have most of us actually! (The real reason is it`s made by a japanense man in a japanense company for a big japanense company,so it`s chock full of japanense cars....even bad ones ) :dunce:

In favour of 60s - 80s cars but also some new 2011 models such as the Pagani Huayra, Tuatara, New 5-Series and Scirocco to name a few.

Definitely wanna see an Austin Healey, Ferrari Daytona or Jaguar D-Type in the game. Wouldn't mind some 2011 BTCC / WTCC Cars too or the 2011 Dallara Indy Car. :)

Not sure about 40-50s cars as I think the novelty of the Schimwaggens and Kubelwagenns are far too easily lost. I may be wrong though :). However, I think PD should concentrate on upgrading rather than building upon their current library of cars.

Would be nice :)

I just want to point a mistake, atleast in my opinion:

The greatest driver of the pre WWII and after WWII era was Tazio Nuvolari, the king of motor racing.

On topic again:

I would love to drive old cars. As a huge fan of grand prix racing, I would love to see one iconic race car from each era of GP racing (and sports car racing too of course). My list:

- Bugatti Type 35 Klick

- Mercedes W125 Klick

- Mercedes W194 Klick

- Ferrari 312 (`66, without wings) Klick

- Ferrari 126C (`81) Klick

- Mclaren MP4/4 Klick

- Williams Renault FW16 Klick

I would like to see the Ariel Atom and Caparo T1..

If they add more old/classic street/racing premium/standard cars, I'm not going to complain.

That IROC-Z looks nothing like any IROC-Z that I've ever seen on the street, its just a wierd super-smooth concept car. It'd be nice to have a real one. As somebody else said, no Trans-Am at all and there probably should be a couple. But there probably should be another 1,000 cars in the game anyway.

Absolutely, old cars are stylish and fun to drive. I would like to see all current -1980 cars premiumized or pay happily for any vintage dlc pack.

Agreed, I owned a 1987 IROC-Z years ago and at the time one of the most popular and hottest street cars along with the Mustang 5.0 in North America. 1972-3 Trans Am 455 H.O. and 2002 Trans Am would be cool (errrr Forza).
And where are the 60's and 70's Falcon and Monaros?? I'll just keep collecting Nissans, mazdas and daihatsus since they are so important :dunce:

The 1980s F1 cars should be licensed.

And where is my 90s Ford Escort Cosworth?

No they are NOT, neither is in the game. The concept IROC was a precursur to the 1991-1992 Z28 (I own a 1992 Z28).

Kind of a late reply but really there must be some other, older Japanese cars that could be put in.

Premium Chevrolet Chevelle, Plymouth Superbird, Plymouth Cuda Six Pack, Pontiac Trans-AM, GTO Judge, Mustang Boss 302, Shelby GT350R '65.

No 👎 PD needs to focus on getting new cars before making standards into premiums! I agree with the Trans Am though, but the Chevelle the Plynouths the Shelby or any other standard car need to remain standard with the exception of maybe the XFR amd the Veyron.

As for older cars I'd like to see in the game, I'd like the late 90s and 2000s Diablos. Hell of a car. Also maybe some rally cars, ones that are missing from the game like the Lancia 037.

As for things I'd like to see in GT5, new events and NEWER cars. New models and late 2000s models before old cars.

My knowledge of old cars is not that wide, so I could not really comment on this but, I would love to be able to drive my Ford GT40 Road Car from GT2 again. Preferably in Midnight Blue with them White Stripes. And the side stripe saying "GT40" instead of "FORD GT". :D

The XJ220, Countach, Veyron 16.4, CTR Yellow Bird, Stratos, Supra RZ, Corvette C1, C2, C4, Ford GT40 Race Car would all like a word with you ;)

I'd love to see the early 70s skyline gtr's made premium (cant beleive ive just asked for more premium skylines lol.... ) and perhaps a Renault 4 for my own amusement.....

I would like to see more classic race cars. Especially from the 70s. That was the golden age of racing in my opinion.

Not to mention all the Group C cars :D

I would love to see a 60s F1 car in GT5, PD would no doubt make it look jaw-droppingly stunning, and it would be a blast to take around the Nordschleife, or Spa (even if it isn't the historic layout)...........

Hmmmm ford falcon xb and holden hq monaro :-)

I agree with most of the wishes listed here. I was especially surprised to NOT see the D type Jag after PD made such a big deal about the XJ13. The problem with asking for american cars from the 30s and 40s is that most of these cars (while beautiful designs) were under powered and heavy. Without the ability to perform engine swaps, these cars would not be fun to drive unless they were limited to racing each other.
