Don't totally understand the new number thing

So how does the new number above you name thing work out. I know if you use official numbers they work, but can some custom numbers work also on liveries.

No, custom numberplates does not show up over your head. Only official ones.

You can set your Racing Number to the desired number, then turn off the number box, so that the number that you chose stays, especially during the celebration screens in an Online Lobby, where the number you set is on the bottom left of said screen, next to the car name.

I don't think it will show up on the bottom left of the Celebration Screen...

RZQ is right, if you set a number and then just disable it it still gets saved and used in lobbies and other places

In racing leagues people use their numbers and everything works fine. The only place where you can not choose your number is in Sport Mode.
