When broken in and fresh oil it is 1550hp or just over.
Top speed I do not know. I had it out on Daytona Oval and was getting 299mph going into the corners. Had it up to 310 on Indy in a brief draft. Brief because the other car was a Minolta doing about 220 so I was closing like he was sitting still and had to break the draft very quickly.

I've the X1 up to 310 mph drafting another X1 at daytona. For some reason I thought top speed was 270. Very pleased with the bronze x1. ཀབསཇཝ༒

I have never seen the point of concept cars being in the game, most of the crazy ones never get built because it's impossible to meet the concept. I love cars, not made up impossible machines. Concepts annoy me, here I have a concept, it is 3000HP, goes 0-60 in 0.2 seconds, a top speed of 3 times the speed of sound, it can time travel and doesn't need to slow down for corners, I'll draw/build a fibreglass wedge shape and it will get in the game. Chances of it being built with more than an old civic engine in it? None.

I get why people are kicking people with x1's at the moment , it looks like your showing off abit, however give it say a month and I think more people will get them and it will gradually become exceptable

Some of the concepts in the game, like the furai, were actually built and actually had workings parts and the correct engine in them. Youtube the furai and you can see it in action.

The X1 is just a made up car to show what is theoretically possible given the technology we have available (in real life). Your concept you came up with couldn't ever exist with what we have, but the X1 could actually be built if someone wanted to.

Citroen GT was/is a concept, and exists IRL

Most concepts that are physically produced never see an assembly line i.e you can't has one...so what's the difference if there's one in a game that you can't get either?

Citroen GT exists IRL, however it does not have the engine it uses in Gran Turismo, as it was a hydrogen powered one if I remember well- the real Citroen GT (as in concept) is powered by a Ford V8 engine running on petrol.

Then build something to beat the Supercars? That's like going to Le Mans with a Renault5 on lowering springs and higher boost pressure, and complaining you can't keep up with the GT cars.

The X1 has different top speeds depending on the tune.

Example:
Daytona no other cars on the track testing speed with different levels of downforce.

Default settings I got 290mph into the corner
Lowest settings I got 299 into the corner
Highest settings I never got into 7th gear and got 250-260 I think.

the DF range is large on this car and the speed is varied by about 50mph based on the amount of DF used.

I don't understand the problem, if you are the host, set the HP limit to 1000 and bam, no X2010.
