FamineThe GT4 forum, when set up originally, was 6 months before the release date of GT4. As it turns out, it was 18 months+ before the game has even thought about coming out - and you've seen the hideous mess caused in the forum by hundreds of over-excited people repeatedly posting the same stuff over and over and over again.
The PS3 is slated for a first arrival in Japan in April 2006. IF it meets that deadline. I don't think we need a forum for discussing it until at least this time next year, as any stats anyone can come out with are 100% likely to change before the consoles hits shelves.
Stinky ChickenFamine has made a grammatical error, the word will now end.
Jimmy EnslashayEDIT: You also made a grammatical/spelling error:
GilesGuthrieBack on-topic please.
Forums get created for topics when the level of coversation demands it, not just because someone thinks it's a great idea.
Anyway, talking tech specs on vapourware gets really tired, really fast.
Jimmy EnslashayWhy don't you just make 2 separate threads: one for PS3 Rumours, the other for Xbox 2 Rumours?
Easier and less of a waste of space than a whole Forum. That way you can ignore the threads.

Looks like it's the general opinion....CosmicIsn't this suggestion to early?
Exactly like they did to GT4 forum.... Oh wait, you said months not years.icemanshooter23I think it would be best to wait until a couple months before it is released.
Yes this would be the solution for us daily visitors but the new members usually disregard it and just go and post a new thread so I dont think a sticky would have any effect?Jpec07A single stickied thread in one of the forums would do well, don't you think? I'm not sure what the current situation is as far as PS3 discussion, but a thread would serve the purposes nicely...
