I like ESPECIALLY how you say that d2 can't race, yeah good on you. Besides, all the people in this conversation bar yourself are in the same circle of racers which are in the Top 0.5% on this game.......where are you when we're racing?? That's right, trying to get secrets off me regarding a GTR.

Oh, here's another thought regarding handbrakes, I DON'T 🤬 USE THEM!! I use the NORMAL brake not the handbrake. 👍

I know masta and he aint scare of running of tree even though his not good at it. The reason why he runs off time is because he likes to see how his car stands so he can know if he gotta re- tune. I raced him before with the time and if he dosent get an even lunch he wont run. When you race off the tree its about reaction time and like that u will never know if your car is faster then the other guys, you just fooling yourself thinking you are fast but your not its ur reaction poor running guys. The tree has yellow lights for pre stage not just green and theres no ghost neather. Lets b more realistic and see whos got the better tune! I bet u wont beat masta

Haha, i didnt say he couldnt race, read what i wrote again. It can be due to time zones that im not in your rooms. Trying to get secret out of your gtr, well not really, i was asking about tuning so i can improve my setup myself. Im not a leacher. Then, im not in the same circle as you guys, im not in a team, and i tune slightly different cars than you usually do.

true, real drag racing there are the yellow lights then the green. but in real drag racing there is a red light. if you go too soon you lose the race

its easier to have an even launch and impossible to "red light" when you go off a tree

its not like the guy that tree's randomly goes ghost. it usually happens within 5 seconds from when you line up.

also in real drag racing, its rare that both cars leave at exactly the same time, some people have better reaction then others. off time, there is absolutely no reaction time but more so anticipation

cons of each:
time - leaving early --> cheating because you are well aware of what time to leave and you left early
tree - leaving late --> slow reaction because you have no idea when exactly to leave

how about you guys get a better reaction time so we can eliminate jumping/cheating?

if you guys are so confident, run a tree.

unless of course your scared, which i have been hearing a lot around here

lol man this is funny. Just because I like to instigate things, here's what I think:

Timer:
~ You know when to go and reaction time is completely out of the equation. This system might work if everyone in the room is legit but even then it is soooooo easy to take off a tenth of a second early and thats all it takes to win the race. Also it is possible that the timer is different for some people up to a full second. Seen this in many rooms.

Tree:
~ IMO closest to reality. Reaction time of the driver AND quality o his tune decide if he will beat his opponent. People complain that you take off late because there is no "yellow light". Though I don't prefer it, I see many people turn on their lights or turn their wheels before ghosting. Yes there can be ghost lag but most of the time your opponent realizes it and reverses back to the starting line... at Indy at least.

Bottom line I never knew veteran draggers use timer. I only use it when me and one other person is on the track and there is no other alternative. There is a reason that in real life drags they have a light instead of a huge timer

Mostly 700+ hp cars. But on vacation for a good week now and writing this post from my iTouch (previous post took over 20 min to write lol) And since tunes get better every day it will take me a while to get back into the loop of things

Its very true about reaction time but when u have 2 cars with the same hp like for instant a viper has 1031 hp both the same cars both cars have very good tunes on them if the person get a .5 sec ahead on tree it will be very difficult to catch the person because he would be a hole car ahead, but if you get an even lunch it would be more of a close race and is whoever gets out of the tunnel first. Like i said time is better. its who ever got the top end that's just my thing now if we both have same car with different hp then it would be more challenge in this case both have the same hp.

No problem, the basics are still the same. Give me a message on psn and we can tune something, im also redoing my tunes as we speak. Im working on a new suspension setup for 4wd cars with 50/50 torque, feel free to test it if you wanna.
