Drift Settings Depot

when i play the game just to beat races/series and advance in the game, some of my higher powered cars that are set up for good track times still drift quite a bit when driven hard...my lotus esprit 350 or whatever drifted alot, so does my RX-8...

i looked up this setting to see what people have done with this car before, would you recommend using the variable center diff too? just wondering because i dont think its in your setup and it may help get a 4wd sideways easier

on a related note to my last post....

I just drove my fully modded altoworks suzuki for the first time......

is it just me, or is this the only car in the game with a Blowoff valve sound?

I know the other cars in the game with turbos have turbo spooling sounds...but this one actually has a blowoff valve thats really loud, when you shift or lett of the gas just like it would be for real.

and if you stop in this car, the thing takes so long to spool the turbo you cant start moving for like 10 seconds.

It has the biggest Turbo in the game, and your right, it does have the loudest BOV. I have used this turbo, on some of my hybrid cars. ;)

checkout my skyline settings. (scroll to the second set in the thread cause the first set is for beginners ;))

not sure if with that downforce and turbolag it is possible. you are better off with something else tbh. if u want power, go for my skyline drift settings (im not trying to advertise them heh).

with 1100 hp on tap, there's little you can't outrun.

we should gather up all of the settings and make it into a word.doc and post the zip with exhuast note stickey

fantansy cars no such thing f in f1 stands for forumla
and make ur own settings because everyone is busy

I know F in F1 stands for formula

just that they are not refered to as formula 1 cars in GT3 due to licensing and stuff....so they are refered to as fantasy cars.....

this car is really easy. if you can drift a stock trueno you can kick ass with this thing. stay in third gear alot and go light on the gas mid drift.

I like this setup because its easy to do longer drifts and it feints well too.

direct from the 4wd drifting club i proudly present
the RUF CTR 2

i took me a long time and experimentation, its not 100% but its 90% better than it ever has been:)

parts :everything u can get.
tyres: i use sims, but normals are ok, try sims first tho

settings: f/r
sring rate: 8.6 / 4.0 .......see edit, 11.0kg at rear
ride height: 91 / 91
damper bound: 1 / 1
damper rebound: 10 / 10

lsd acc: 60 / 60
lsd decrease: 30 / 30
gear ratio: final drive 4.444
auto setting 24 then max out 6th gear for speed
asm/tcs 0/0
vcd: i use 10% on mine but experiment up to 50% for your own taste :)
edit:irked: on reflection i have changed my rear spring rate to 11.0kg and my front camber angle to 6.0
i may increase front stabiliser as well end edit.

to use this car, slow down a lot on the straight before a corner and shift to a lower gear than the red indicator is showing,HOLD the e-brake till the required HIGH angle is reached then pile on the power
or if at a high speed corner,
use either braking drift,e-brake or feint to initiate the drift, pump the gas to maintain loose traction and in mid corner use shift lock or keep taping the e-brake to increse angle
it works well on complex string and ssr5, just practice with it and find out ;)

feel free to comment or pm me if you like it.
happy drifting.;)

P.S it is still heavy to steer at verry low speed:( and i know its still not prefect.
