It'd be great if you told us what this was for and stuff. And not post useless threads intiltled the wrong thing..

Whats with everyone posting things like this? They don't tell us what its for, they just post it. A nice "This is a drift setp for a Skyline" or something would be nice.

True but if you want to whine at a certain person, then that is what private messages are for. I'm just saying what makes sense to me and I respect everyone elses opinon.

And I respect yours, but I dont want "ddfdf" as an explaination, i wanna know what this is for.

You mean this is the Golden Standard for any car???

Hmmm... I find that hard to believe - FR, 4WD, FF - respond different... you sure you got your facts right bro?

Not all cars have the same weight or balance, so that setup wouldn't be optimum for all cars like you said. You'd be ok with it, but just making a point.

well, for one thing, there is no "universal" drift setup every car is different.....thats like me saying ok get all parts u can buy u should get about 330 RWHP what if u have a supra and end up with 1000?.......and another thing u dont want ur ride height all the way down.......on tracks like laguna seca with big hills at times if ur car is too low, you will bottom out and lose control, and last but not least ur camber changes are too agressive i think....................................BUT REMEMBER IM A SEMI NEWBIE DRIFTER so why would u possibly believe little ole' me?

Well, there's too much rear camber. 1.0 is fine. Also, I've never had a problem with my car too low. I always lower them all the way, even my rally cars.

i use the same setup for all my cars.....i dont remember what they are but i know they were lanevo's 4wd setup....it works nicely with cars under 320hp...

Nah, I'm in a fairly good mood. But he just talks like we're supposed to know what random letters mean, and he can't spell know. I just thought I'd let him 'noe' how to spell it right.

I've never drifted before in real life, but it seems intuitively obvious that there isn't one univeresal drift setting for all types of cars, especially the differences between the drivetrain. If you can explain how an FF cars can have their spring rate settings the same as an FR car, I'll believe you. Driving experience has little to do w/ whether there is a universal setting or not.

Look im sorry if i offended anyone by posting a message such as this one. The message i was trying to get is that all cars can be drifted in this setup all it requires is a shift of driving style for different cars. In drifting all it is shifting weight i weight can be ****ed and controlled then a car be drifted. I dont appreciate people jumping on my case about a subject that concerns a VIDEO GAME its good you have an opinion. But ease up ok...

Hello Gabagaba, what you are saying is wuite true that any car can be drifted in almost any setting in which one car can drift. But this is like saying that any car can be drifted in stock trim... which is also true... i would also venture to say that drifting in stock trim would be better than giving every car teh same settings... I think this is what everyone was getting at, and trust me they were just being hard on you cuase you are a newb and well they just want you to get acustomed to how it is around here.

First off welcome to gtp, and secondly what happened to you seems to happen to every newbie who goes around making threads without really understanding what is a good thread topic and what not. I would suggest going around and posting in other peoples threads and stuff before you start making threads so that you get used to the site and people know you before you try stuff like this. They wont jump on your case and stuff...

Anyways, PM me if you have any questions.
