I kept spinning out when spinning the wheel back out of countersteer. I found it better to slowly steer it out of countersteer. Specially on the exits: full throttle and steer slowly back to the neutral position.. Sounds all wrong i know; but this way you will slowly turn the front wheels in the direction of the straight bit of road, while the car straightens out.

But if you want to transition youll need to do it a little bit.. Which is hard.

I guess ill just have to try it. Thank you

Its SOO different it took me about 3 days to even get sliding down with out spinning out

The first time I actually turned the corner. It was my first perfect drift with it.
I thought I was gonna do horribly, but I did very well.
Scored a 12 218 on Tsukuba Circuit, with that RX-7 Race Mod.

I go to the wheel I ether turn the wheel to much or I don't breing the car back and I spin out.

the best thing i have found I learned Best on big wide open turns at Suzuka east.

Not a DFGT but here's a vid of me using the old driving force (180degree). I just found the wheel today, the thing was tucked away in my closet for maybe 5 years. Kinda feels like an expanded dual shock 3 controller, since it only requires a short distance to full wheel lock. Damn I still suck with a DFGT and G25 though.

You can change the amount of degrees on the DFGT, but i wouldnt recommend it. Its so rewarding to do your first strings with a 900° wheel!

In all honesty, learning the wheel is hella patience. If I were you, do some practice runs and watch your replay. See what you're doing wrong (entry speed, counter steer, angle, etc) It took me about a good week to finally get the flow going. Just takes a lot of patience.

Counter steering is easy. Learn to ride the wheel out instead of forcing it into motion. Thats what my #1 cause for spinning out.

I have no idea what car your in but is its the video thats lagging or was the lagg ingame? Slowing down suddenly and then speeding up very quickly..

As for drifting; your doing fine; the big corrections will get smaller and smaller until suddenly you can take corners in one steady angled drift.. Keep at it!

What do you refer to as Wheel settings? i myself have a DFGT too, but i don't know how to set it up for drifting, can someone help me.

^ I too would love to know how to do that. I've never really been into drifting, but thought I'd give it a whirl. I wasn't too bad at it with a DS3, but recently I bought I DFGT. I can't drift for the life of me. Everytime I seem to get half way around a corner, the car shoots off in the other direction. I don't know what im doing wrong. I just can't seem to do it lol.

You need to decrease the steering angle while straightening out the car.

Big angle = full lock steering.
No angle (going straight) = No steering angle.

So for an exit of the corner; and you see the straight part of the track; steer back out of countersteer at the same rate that the angle of the car declines.. Youll need to fight the FFB if youre not going to transition into another corner.

If you do want to transition into another corner let off the gas GENTLY and countersteer A BIT more untill it snaps; then let the wheel spin into countersteer of the next drift, just like you would on normal initiation..

Hope that helps
