This is a very personal choice.
You must choose a track you like and know very well.
I mean, in order to test drifting cars, you have to go through the track always in the same way, to notice the changes you make to the car.
Personally I have 2 tracks to test (trial mountain and midfield) and when I think the car is ready I test it in other tracks.

. for me the best is complex string because its a lot of
cornering and its same like di championship track ( ebisu ) etc
who agree with me

i like to go midfield.. then once u r used to it.. go apricot. then go black forest.. then finally the Special Stage route 11 (i think) in the beggginers league's world championships.. Its almost impossible to get speed on that track.. the corners are endless.. i can only run that in a 300hp or less car.. i tried 1000hp but i just crashed into every corner

complex string is just too long to practice on ... if you wanna go back to a corner you gotta wait 4 minutes lol

if you want convienience use the midfield and apricot hill... but midfeild gets boring only three real turns and not difficult to master. apricot forward is fun and has that "challenging" first turn. backwards is not as entertaining or useful. i would advise to unlock all courses in arcade mode and get good at each. trial mountains is extremely useful cause it forces you to stay on the road... ocmplex has some good corners after you are used to drfting or at least to the car you are using at the time... special stage 11 is hella easy with anycar as soon as you get the concept of the hairpins (great practice)... basically every course has its merits both forward and backward so have fun

complex string is the best because it puts the car through ALL types of turns improving your overall skill

Except for all those banked sweepers we all like to do ;)

And yeah Apricot Hill... my first test track of choice, gotta love tha first turn. Trial mountain is good but its not selectable in the 'free run' mode in your garage.:banghead:

I practice a lot on Complex String, Apricot Hill II, and Grand Valley....

Bengee, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one... AH II is a much better course (IMO) than the forward version... It is more challenging, and there are some cool link opportunities not possible in the forward track... (and the camera angles are more desirable IMHO).....

I love all the tracks.....

Well, I'd deduct Darlingt.... err, Super Speedway and Test Course from that list but it is possible, you need to like run Super softs up front and sims in the rear at Test Course though lol Either that or run equal front and rear downforce on a race car. I can't break loose in a 1200hp C12R on sims at Test Course, and if I do, I can't keep the slide:rolleyes:
