Driver 3

well those V-8s look like 80s vettes. One of those muscle cars look like a 69 Camaro with hidden headlights and another looks like a tettsrosa(dunno what year) So I don't know what year this is taking place in..

Ya this game is pretty good but not the greatest, what confuses me most is what time this takes place in there are classic cars modern cars so its hard to tell but if you look at the advertising around miami you'll see nokia and sobe billboards so I'd say around present day with alot of classic cars.

Go to Nice. And look for the Lamborghini.

In the Commercial I remember seeing a Murcielago R-GT. Or was it my eye playing tracks on me...

Driver 3 definitely does not "own" GTA: Vice City.

Read the Gamespot and IGN reviews, they're spot on.

You're easily entertained, Darin. Reflections dropped the ball on Driver 3. Very disappointing.

Vice city pWns DRIV3R. I jsut went on a 45 minute rampage in vice city. Can't do that in DRIV3R...

I'm glad I rented Driv3r first. It really sucks when you go in expecting a game to be the shiz but it really sucks. Won't have to worry about that with GTA:SA and GT4 though.

I'm am really not. Just I can't have Vice City. Parents recognize it to easily. Driv3r is the closest I can get to even owning a Mature rated game.... I hate the rules here...

Exactly, Event Horizon. I didn't even know Driver 3 had rampages. Driver 3 is so boring, you have to make up your own gameplay modes. Are you seeing visions of Vice City in Driver 3, Darin?

my god this game is horrible. i hate atari. they make people rent or buy games out of curiosity, and yet they have NEVER ceased to make me sick.

"driv3r" sucks hard.

I like Driver 3. I bought the game for the driving, not the shooting or crap. The cars, the physics, and other stuff, is more realistic than Vice. When I fire up Driver 3 I go to take a ride, no cops, and just drive, crash, drive a car off a cliff, go flying off the ramps on the beach in Nice, take a bus and just smash into cars, or get in the trusty forklift and try to stack cars or even lift the bus with it(for anyone who wants, you have to put the bus against a wall/post, then it'll lift up, better yet, put a car against the wall, then park the bus against the car, then lift the bus onto the car, and then try to get in the car). I don't need the shooting part(except to pop tires and catch the car on fire). As probably the only person who still has Driver and Driver 2, I can say that the driving part of it has always been what I bought the games for.

You can still go on driving rampages (without the shooting) in Vice City! The reactions of the drivers are hilarious! Yesterday, I was in the Packer (The truck with the ramp on the back) and I was backing up through oncoming traffic which cars went over the ramp and I was laughing my a$$ off! You may not be able to use a forklift, but you have helicopters, in which you can chop people up in the blades! :bloodthirsty:

May I ask where you get the forklift, Mazkid.

Go east in Nice...you see a type of 2 loop area and then a pointy bit of land with a road that goes around it(the road isn't on the map)...drive on that road till you see a path/driveway(ok, if you are aimed directly at the house with the car at the end of the loop, if you go on the road to the left look right along the wall and you'll see a path/stairs, if you go to the road on the right you'll see a steep driveway). You'll end up at a house, but if you go west in the yard you'll see 2 garages, they'll open up and there's your fork lift. Save game, go take a ride, and you can select the forklift.

maybe you can show me a map? I dunno which one is east because the camera can change the direction in the start menu.

I think I just saw a game glitch cuz I slammed on my brakes as usual to stop at a redlight and all of the sudden the green car from the opposite side of the road does a 180 onto my side almost hitting me... no sorry on the left side is an off ramp and he just flew outta there and hit the ebrake i guess.

Here you go , can you show us where you find it?

He's offline. He says its the B shaped part in the farthest eastern point....:odd:

Does that make any sense to you guys?

It's in Miami in the South-Western corner, just next to the Biltmore Hotel. There's some bushes around there and there should be an entrance with a tunnel.
Just follow the tunnel, get out of your car (when you reach the area with the closed gate) and go up the stairs. Go inside, kill Timmy, and press the switch. Now go through the gate and follow the other tunnel and then it shouldn't be too hard to find the racetrack. The Go-kart is in the pit-stop if the racetrack. ;)

Yeah kill Timmy is easier said then done that guy has a friggin M16 and probably body armour because i shot him with 30 rounds of Uzi and nothing died outta him what gives?
