Driver Helmets & Suits- Show us your designs (New update 30/7/18)

Made the graphics I needed now to completely bring these JB helmets up to scratch. The first one of the finished articles is out now - the dragon and Smurf logos have been drawn in Corel especially for these helmets, and this is the first upload since the blurry decals issue has been patched, so I'm very pleased with the result.

This one is from the Japanese Grand Prix of 2014 in which Jenson finished in fourth place.

What made you choose the Discovery era helmet over the more modern one? Would have been a lot easier!

To be honest I didn't know there was a difference, I assume the main difference is the back area? Each one of those wires were hand placed, it was very tricky to have them be the right length, width and curvature to not overlap with the edges, there was probably an easier way of doing it.

Yeah over the years they refined and simplified them, the modern RAM style;

though the best ones are their encore suits they wore during their last Alive tour (which I went too );

Is there a way to view helmets/racing suits like if I’ve downloaded one of the many great designs on here am I able to just view it in someway, like you would for a car livery it has a preview mode so you can see around the whole design
Or do I have to go into scapes and put the driving gear on first?

Probably have to put it on. They do not have a preview button. Hope they add it soon.

Spotted a minor alignment error on my old-school JB designs which was bugging me. I've tinkered with these things endlessly in CorelDraw and the in-game editor, but I think I've finally made them to a standard I'm happy with now, so they've all been re-uploaded.

Of those, the ones I've not yet posted are the 2008 Race of Champions, which was the late-season 2008 helmet with added sponsorship:

And the 2010 Canadian GP helmet. This was the only time that Jenson ever raced his old JB design on the Arai helmet - it was a slightly odd looking attempt with very chunky shapes, but I'm pretty happy with the accuracy.
