what is "right" depends on your screen setup and distance. the default FM3 setting is although closer to real FOV on a single screen, the lack of peripheral vision has a dramatical impact on your sense of speed. So when played on a single screen you actually need a wider FOV to compensate for it. although it might be in numbers not as real, but the overall effect I believe is indeed better.
I always prefer FOV like FM4's default, one things the sense of speed is more pronouced, another I can see the side mirror.
Just getting ready to post this. I'm not really liking the camera angle in cockpit view. Seems like they just want to show more of the car at the expense of a real camera angle. I think FM3 had it right. Feels like I'm that guy Edd China from that show Wheelers Dealers
If it works like FM3 did, then the FoV will be adjustable for the cockpit view, so that shouldn't be much of a problem...
That was a workaround though, and one that will freeze your xbox if you don't have an Ethernet cable plugged in, I expect a more formal adjustment option this time. actually if height and back/forth can be adjusted it will be very neat.
LuminisDunno, I've only seen a left/right move done by Kinect. I'm actually thinking about getting Kinect for FM4, too, but I'll have to waait and see whether that's worth it.
When you got little kids it's easy to get it past the mrs. Lol.
AND the proper camera angles like in the show! It's so good to see something being done RIGHT.I love the fact that a reasonably priced car AND standing starts is in with the TGTT.

Well I'll be the only one with kinect I suppose.
Hopefully it's just a matter of how I tune it.
Can you look up and down, near or far with kinect in forza. I know the hardware will allow it but will forza?

Let me correct you......its good to see soooo many things done right. Its amazing what the devs can do when they have communication with their fans and listne to the like and dislikes.
I actually used the Mrs. as my excuse to purchase Kinect. "Oh ya they have tons of fitness games that will keep you in shape!"
So my wife continues to look sexy, and I have the best peripheral on the market! Lol.
Yeah, they probably didn't implement all the changes that were asked for in FM3, probably because they were working on FM4 to do just that: Deliver what their customers asked for![]()
Customers rarely understand both those concepts, but that's part of the "I want now" mentality.
Yeah, I know. I mean, I can understand some of the complaints that arose when going from FM2 to FM3, but I think that the franchise made staggering progress since its release in 2005 - I think it developed further in those six years then GT did in the 14 years since its debut on the PS1.

wait, what? Are you guys saying the FM franchise is only 6 years old!? If so, then the work by T10 is very impressive!
(full disclosure - I felt suckerpunched by the GT5 game from believing all of the prerelease hype of how great this game would play for me. I am approaching FM4 with caution in comparison but I will buy the game once I have a decent wheel).

So yeah, almost every FM thread goes to the stupid GT vs FM discussion,so be proud of yourselves.
Well, looking through the FM4 threads, it seems that you can't read two pages without someone stating that the game is rubbish because... Well, without an actual reason, to be quite honest. Because it looks 'wrong', it's 'just an uprade', yada yada, you get my idea, I think...
