Earning money

I was just wondering, apart from the driver level bonuses, what does everyone find to be the easiest way to earn money in Shift 2? I'm not sure how I'm ever going to have enough money to buy the McLaren F1 or Veyron.

I don't know, I have two million in my bank already without me realizing lol....money comes so easy in this game.

I guess you are actually aware that evertything you sell back returns you initial investment in total?

Sell cars you fon't need and you'll get investment back 100%.

Shift economy alows you to always have access to your funds, not a cent is ever actually "spent" or "lost".

Well I'm winning every single race on the way, just claiming up the ladder + every extra challenge and i can't really say that there isn't enough cash.

Just drive every race you can and win. Didn't spend much cash maybe this is my way, not to spend money on cars that I'm not using currently. If i switch cars then yest this is necessary purchase 👍

Hopefully this isn't O-T. Can you still earn money through the quick races? Twas my favorite method to earn money with since I could use whatever/wherever/whenever to earn money.

I honestly don't know. I haven't been near the quick races apart from a couple of Time Attack sessions. I might try and have a look later. I'd assume so though.

You should be able to. I usually just do a quick 10 minute session by myself, but it always says $0 winnings.

I think you can but its pittence compared to Shift 1. I could get 40k on Shift 1 for 1 hotlap of the Nordschleife.

Everything is a pittance compared to Shift 1. Random low levels races are pitiful amounts of money. I think I was getting $22,000 for the GT3 races on hard, which isn't exactly massive amounts of money for 4+ laps.

The payouts are low in Shift 2. But it doesn't matter because you can always just sell off some cars and buy new ones. All earning more money does for you is essentially expand the amount of cars you can own at one time. It's going to be a long time before anyone owns one of every car in Shift 2.

Me too. If I like a car, I keep it. My favourite is my triple rotary powered MX-5. God I love that thing. And my 499PI MX-5 actually. I just like that car.

It's great for trying cars, finding you don't like them and flicking them on though. I tried a few different cars boosting them up to 999PI to see which ones I liked before settling on my NSX. It's cool, it's like a super test drive.

I got a whole $200 in a quick race. That's going to go straight to my $1.7 million Bugatti. Yay!!

Endurance races pays 18.000$ for first place and 200.000 extra, but that's not fast money. 20 laps last like 50 minutes to 1 hour
