The earlier Gran Turismos had some shorter endurance races, at about an hour. Those were nice because you could run them by yourself easily. In GT5, they are all 2 hours+, and it is hard to find that kind of time and it gets kinda tiring. I personally don't hate them, but that is one reason other people might.
I love enduros, but having a daughter and a job kinda hinders the 24 hour events. I could get time off from the job, but the daughter is completely different.

4 hour nurburgring is very fun. Only one I dislike is Tsukabu with the miata. I only have the 9 and 24 hour races left because I don't have time to sit there that long. When in-race save comes out, I'll get those done right away.
I love the endurance races but I will need the in game saving for the 2, 24 hour events even if I had the time to play straight through I wouldn't want to. a 2-5 hour stint is enough at one time plus I'd prefer not to leave my system on for a week. I might choose to drive the 24 hour even as if on a 3 or 4 man team if they do the save point update. Then I'd be able to do other things or sleep then do my next three hour shift.
Personally I like Enduros, but I think the payout is waaaay to low.
Indy Grinding ==> 97k for 3-4 minutes
4h Nürb ==> 200k ?? maybe a bit more for 4h
That´s an issue PD has to change. 1million per hour Racing would be ok
=> 4million Cr. after the Nürb race
But the payout was always to low (GT4/-3/-2). Hopefully PD fixxes that.
But I have an issue with the Enduros. GT2 had more Enduros but shorter (GT3 too).
Where is the 2h Trial Mountain oldtimer Race ??
Why 24h races ?? that´s unreasonable. (and GT4 had 3 of them)
Also the 9h Tsukuba plus the 4h Roadster Enduro
=> 13h on the one track (after that I woudln´t want to drive on that Track) one other Track would be great

Every Track gets a Enduro (2-4h) that would be better in my opinion then having a 9h and two 24h races (1000miles of Suzuka; almost forgot that).
People have lives and can´t just play all day (what are those "special" Japanese-people called??).
4h is in my opinion ok but everything longer than that ?? nope not for me. My PS3 would run for a week to complete one 24h race !

I love all but the 24 hr races. They are all I pretty much got left to do in the game. I really hope they are able to update the game with saves during these events. I really don't think I could do it all myself, and no I won't let a friend take the wheel. Only I get to drive my cars.
I also hope if they update the game with the ability to save, that you can also do it for B-Spec. I don't like the idea of my PS3 staying on for so long, plus I always get antsy when I have a B-spec enduro going on, and want to play something else on my PS3.
well i hate them because i don't have the patience to sit there for hours and race. i cant even do the 4 hour one. I'd feel like a big ball of **** if i sat there for 4 hours and more on a single race. Idk maybe id do endurance when they make race saves for endurance. I know that kind of goes against the whole idea of enduring but i just cant do it. now in real life........ If you gave me gas and tires, i would race for hours non stop. :-)
