I recall someone posting that if you used the unofficial save / red flag option by exiting the game or shutting down mid-race the CRB would reset from the restart point. Whether this is still the case after subsequent game updates I do not know. I plan on doing Spa 8 hour sometime soon and was going to exit and resume with a few minutes to go to see if it’s still a thing.

Can confirm that it did reset the CRB when using the Red Flag Restart, did it in the final laps of my 24hrs of Le Mans for a couple million extra from the CRB, 20.4 Million was the full total with CRB. 👍

But that was a few updates ago so no idea if that has changed since then.

I do find it amazing that I can use my "3mil track-day car" to beat the opposition in many of these races...

That's how I do the Powerpack challenges each week. I run 1000HP Tokyo and 1000HP Deep Forest with a Hypercar and I run Bumpdraft Daytona with the Ford Racer (that weird thing).
I also wall ride Tokyo like a filthy casual. I end up lapping up to 2nd or so at Tokyo, up to about 5th at Deep Forest, and 2 full laps on the field at Daytona. Easy fast money

Power Pack "base" car setup question- I ran the Daytona event in the 962, and it was shaking violently (as in very nearly undrivable...) in a straight line. I noticed this also in the tuned Gallardo, but not at all in other lower powered cars, and not at all outside of Power Pack events. Logi G-Pro at the Logi-recommended settings for damp and filter, and FFB-T at 9, FFB-S at 1, VIB at 130. I was able to tune the shake out using the Filter and Damping settings on the wheel, but the whole issue seems odd. Wheel is on the current firmware. As soon as I go to another event, I have to restore the original Filter/Damp settings (8, 15).
I might run the event in a garage car to see if there is a difference- just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue?

My RS50 would wobble a lot more post GT7 physics update in the Merc Gr1 car used in the Le Mans 24hr event. I couldn't fully get rid of it but putting the FFB filter to 1 on the wheelbase mostly cured it, plus in game sensitivity to 1, wheelbase on max torque then turn the ffb strength down in game. In the end I created a custom profile on the wheelbase purely for Gr1 cars.

Recheck your suspension settings, the TOE IN settings are way different from web had i had pre physics update....

I haven't had issues with my "owned" cars, just the loaner ones in the P-Pack which I don't think can be tuned.

I've only raced a few hours & a few own garage cars in the Power Pack since the last update, but none seem to be worse or wobbly it depends on the tuning which for my part is mostly similar to before the last update. I also experienced wobbly car behavior on some road cars & that should be easy to fix with stiffer springs etc, if not it could be a small bug or something from PDI which if it is unrealistic should be removed. But some road cars are sometimes wobbly irl if they're within a range of height & the weight + vertical weight distribution is not low enough, & the car setup meaning springs/dampers & everything that can make a car less stiff on a road is not working as it should & like before the last update, then it is by definition at least a small bug.

Its the 2 chili car in the powerpack endurance so you can't adjust the toe
I understand you cannot adjust TOE but if you see 0.45 on the front, it will be unstable.
The new "Physics" re-adjusted a lot of the TOE IN measurements, I had to go and re-adjust a lot of my garage cars after update....

Pfft, I do the GTI race at Eiger Nordwand in the Jaguar VGT for the challenges.

Race is over in less than 4 minutes.

Yup, GTI in anything for me. Used a green Gr.4 Scirocco for 100k and the Caterham for the remaining tickets.

Yes but that track is garbage :D
I've found my most efficient way for me to complete the PP challenges is just 3 bump draft daytona. I just like wall riding Tokyo in a hypercar from time to time

Has anyone managed to do the GT-One Sarthe race with a clean race bonus? I've now driven it four times and never got it, and have no idea where I'm blowing it. I know of the second Hunaudiéres chicane exit and the fast right hander to Indianapolis, those two spots have the track limit nowhere near where it should be - so far out that you can't even touch the kerb - but there must be more of the same kind somewhere.

@Greycap Maybe the Dunlop chicane, Indianapolis is tricky ! The Power Pack don't have a off track penalty system like the others races of the game, that's the problem ! 😮‍💨
I test it tomorrow for look this 😉
Edit :
I quick test with a Porsche 963 and it's possible.
I make attention with chicanes, kerbs and white lines. Maybe your problem is at Arnage, I don't cross the white line and I do a perfect race 👍😉

Why is American part doesn't have endurance race?

In Europe, I unlocked Spa GT One and at Japanese Suzuka GT500.

They could put Watkins or Laguna to USA part.

Daytona 24H would make sense now that we have the LMH cars.
Daytona is mainly NASCAR track, Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta or Laguna Seca would be far better choice.

I have done a custom race with 24hrs od Daytona!!! It was remarkable!!!!
I would really love a larger grid and a proper multiclass race with corresponding rewards.

The Glen, Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca don’t have a 24H. The Glen has a six hour event. Road Atlanta just had the Petit Le Mans, a 10 hour race. Laguna Seca has a six hour event. In going with the more popular endurance themes of the Power Pack races, the 24H race is the better and most popular USA choice like having the 24H of Le Mans.

The Daytona 24 begs to differ.
Watkins Glen is used for the 6 hour IMSA enduro. Road Atlanta was last night for Petit Le Mans (again IMSA) and that's 10 hours. There's no endurance round for Laguna Seca and the track isn't long enough. IMSA runs sports cars there for about 2 hours.

The one track missing is Sebring and they run 12 hours there for IMSA.

Daytona has the Rolex 24 and that's been run continuously since 1966. It uses the infield road course as well as the oval for nascar 2, backstretch, 3, and 4.

Trust me when I say the only endurance race that should be on the American path is the 24 hours of Daytona.

I think I had a good enough break, I'm now starting the 24 Hours of the Green Hell. My pick of car is the older Genesis Gr 3 with a WTC800 tune. An hour and a half in, heavy cloud cover but no rain yet.

Well, I haven’t been back to the Power Pack in a few months. I have a new wheel and pedal setup now, and with the physics changes I wanted to see if anything changed.

It feels like some races got nerfed, but maybe not. Previously I could not win at Alsace with the Fiat. This time I took a commanding lead right off the line and no one even challenged me. I don’t know if that is a wheel and pedal setup change or a physics change or if they nerfed the other cars. But it was a much easier race this time around.

Then I went to Grand Valley for the last “Vette” race. Once I got used to the car, that was an easy race too. I remember the Trial Mountain race in the red Vette was really hard. This was pretty easy.

Then I went to the Nurburgring in the BMW. A couple laps to get used to the car and we were off in pole position with nobody challenging us. Won by 5 seconds.

So the road cars seem to be where I do well. However, the Gr.3 cars are giving me problems. I can’t get within a second of the leaders at Watkins Glen or at the Red Bull Ring. They just run away from me. I’m not sure how to fix that problem. I seem to struggle with these cars as of late, even in Sport mode. I can do well in Daily Race A but I am not competitive in the Gr.3 cars. I really haven’t been running the Gr.4 races as I hate driving the Elantra.

Anyway, I think the new wheel and pedal setup is making me faster overall. The feedback and the brake pedal response is superior to my old setup. I have made some improvements to my qualifying times since getting the new rig. I think the physics change is nice, but the curbs are like ice on most tracks. Need to avoid them at all costs. And I don’t know if they have nerfed the races. That’s still a bit up in the air. I think overall lap times for the AI look to be about the same as before.

Anyway, I really only have about 5 more races in the main section of the power pack left to do. Then I need to do the endurance races.
