Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 has it. Man that is an awesome game.

i agree, a little shorter on the car list though. kinda what turismo did on the move from 2 to 3.

This kind of stuff can be done with "hybrids". I currently have a RB powered 180SX drifter with about 400HP. It's one of the best drifters I have ever made. My current favorite is an FB RX-7 with an FC engine tuned to a mild 320HP. Sucker is a drift machine! 👍

How does all that hybrid fuss work, you need a stupid Gameshark correct?

There will probably a way to shark port it and swap motors. I had a 57,000hp beetle in GT3.

Meh, suit yourself, but it's a lot of fun. And I'm not talking about making 10,000 hp Miatas, I'm talking about swapping an H22 into a Civic, or an RB26DETT into a Silvia, realistic stuff like that. I don't like when people make those insance wheelie monsters, but stuff that you can do in real life (engine swaps) is really fun.

hahaha,the only engine swapping I have done was actually same as Ten's idea in Auto Modellista O.O. I don't want to sound like I'm stealing here,lol..but when I first imported Auto Modellista,I got the AE86 Trueno,then painted the hood black and stuck and HKS sticker in the windshield and made my own sticker that read "Fujiwara Tofu Delivery" cause I couldn't fit vehicle since it was horizontally,then put it on the doors of my car XD. So I beat the game with that car and unlocked ENGINE SWAP @_@! So since I couldn't only swap with an engine from the same manufacturing company,I swapped my ol' 4A-GE with a JZ11-A I think? Anyways,it was from the first car on top,which was a Supra XD. But it's sad..cause when I swapped,it made my car's top speed slower,even though it said the PS was higher than my own o.o. *shrugs* oh well,at least it made a different sound when I swapped and it seems EVERY car on that game has a mis-firing system that can burn the hood of the car from behind you,hahaha. It's really big and loud,lol

when i used to build hybrids on gt3, i made a integra type r with a 2jzgte and rwd with no mods. that thing was a drift monster. i also made a 700,000hp skyline that drove like an f1. but somehow i stupidly crashed that save and lost it. i gave up after that one. sharkport was a big pain to use. the old dex drive was a faster/smarter design.

Someone just gave me a Dex Drive, Can I Upload a Save Game with it, It's still in the box and I have'nt really thougt about using it just yet, How do you use it, May be I can send you a save if it's possible thruough the Dex unit, LMK! I'm going to take a look at it now... 👍

Has anyone played Motor City Online, engine swaps where the only way to make big ponnies. Anyways a system similar to that would be good just as long as only realistic engine swaps are possible. I would love to drop a 337ci flathead or a 289ci from a Mustang into the model T and make a serious straight line T bucket, or the Volvo 780 Turbo motor (B230FT?) into the Volvo 240GLT, or how bout a 283ci or 350ci ramjet motor in the '54 Vette. I'd much rather this be posible ingame in GT5, but until then I'll probly have to get a gameshark.

the dex drive was for the ps1. i don't believe it is compatible with ps2. sorry.
