That's weird crazytortise. Can't help you there??

I've just noticed that my lap is dirty(only just though). I've also noticed that every single GTP_tagged driver in the top ten has a dirty lap.(except markyboy92) So just wondering whether we allow it for this round.(otherwise everyone will be DQ'd pretty much)

In future rounds we may have to ask for a best lap replay to be posted here.

would i have to keep going into account management and keep changing login details to keep jumping between the 2 accounts? but getting back to topic my 1:20:407 is a clean lap 👍 even though its not top 10 :guilty:
 
Maybe? Never had that problem.

I think we'll have to except any time this week.(clean or dirty) I think in the future rounds we'll have to ask for best lap replays to avoid this problem again.
 
thanks for your help but eventually sorted it out. had to create another user account on the PS3. now i have my "user account" and another user account. can just swop between the 2
 
Best time here is 01:20:518. Not dirty of course.

I think it should be expected that the lap is not dirty, it's common sense IMO.
Is every driver in the top 10 actually registerd their time with you mad94d?

Some of the times in there might just be from fellow GTPers having a blast around not caring/accidental. Only times that are submitted should be taken into account. (For example some of the posts in this thread say not to take notice of the actual GT5:P list as they have done a better lap that is dirty by accident.)

Nearly only 4 hours left all!

KOR_joker, is slow haha considering he gains around 0.2 on the barrior, that lap is invalid and wont be allowed, to get a clean 1'19.xxx is almost impossible.

Well, I'm not sure. I think that maybe we will have to DQ me, stotty, timeattack, Toivonen and Fox. All these laps are dirty. So still needs to be a clean lap come to think of it because it says that in the rules. Unless these people improve with a clean lap.

No not all times are registered with me. I just mean all the GTP_tagged drivers in the top ten.
 
I don't see any point in allowing dirty laps..

This is supposed to be fun , right?
So, let's have fun , drive clean and keep it simple.

Listen up, no dirty laps will be allowed, no change of rules, if you dont like it find another championship to race in its no skin of our nose, were fed up of all the whining about rules, simple as if you dont like it GO!.
 
My lap on the on-line rankings is clearly dirty, and as such, there's no way I'd ever submit it.

This is a difficult one as it's hard to tell if it's dirty whilst you're running it, but if the game doesn't flag it as dirty it stands on the rankings.... and seeing as dirty is generally a bit faster, it then becomes very difficult to beat it with a faster time. This sort of thing will happen, particulalrly on HSR and London, where barrier contact is evry difficult to avoid.

Enjoyed running the car on the track, but won't be submitting.

I agree. LAPS HAVE TO BE CLEAN. I went faster, I think my lap is now clean. If lap is not clean you will be DQ'ed.

EDIT: Just watched my lap, oh so close to the wall at the final turn. Clean, just. It's so close though. Wouldn't mind a second opinion.
 
Of course you also have to figure in the 'invisi-wall'... you can watch your replay and see space between the car and the wall, yet there can still be contact as I found out with one of my WRS laps... I thought it was 100% clean but when I asked for a 2nd opinion someone pointed out a tiny 'bounce' even though there was clear air between car and wall. Had to bin a very fast lap and re-run it.

Less of an issue in WRS of course, as TT's are run off line.

Yep, Just improved to a 1'20.001. Definetely clean, close to the wall but no bounce off it. No shutter through the wheel when I did the lap too. So confident it's clean.

EDIT: Deadline is tomorrow morning remember guys(for AU/NZ crowd)(23:59 GMT). Make sure you get your times in on time.

This just in, yes....the tortoise has just over taken the hair!!
 
My lap is now clean, have to check Fox's because he improved in the past hour. Stotty, timattack and Toivonen are still dirty laps.
 
Ouch, 0.013 no way, i have to try again then, thought i had p1 in the bag.
 
Yes, I know my 1'20.146 is a dirty lap. I have yet to submit a time to you guys, so there really should be no reason to get worked up and talk about DQ'ing me (or others) at this point in time anyway. I ran it quite close at the last corner and just barely brushed the barrier, but couldn't really varify this until later looking at the replay.

Just for a heads up my best clean lap is a 20.177, although I believe I can take some more time off, as my first sector was about .150 off where it should be.

Is it ok that the lap i submit isn't the fastest lap registered online?
 
Yes, great lap mad, i gave up after 10 mins, beatable but not worth the effort i dont think so ill settle for second[at best].

I just did a clean 1'20.144. I had a really close encounter with the barrier at the last corner, but I'm pretty sure it's clean though. I'm going to call it quits as my hands have been pretty jittery today. All in all I'm still pretty happy with my time for a pad user. This track definitely closes the gap between the wheel and pad guys :)

Timeattack, your time equally impressive with a controller.

Tried briefly yesterday but nothing worth mentioning then ...and I'd appreciate if someone checks if it's clean. 👍 (i know it is, but anyway ;) )
 
If you can check my lap as well I'd appreciate it. I was REALLY close to grazing the wall at the last turn...although I think I was clean by a couple of inches. Mad's .001 lap looks to be about as close as mine at the last corner. :crazy: Thanks 👍

Well, it couldn't be closer :D ..but I think you don't touch the wall 👍 so after looking the replay once I'd say it's clean. :) :cheers:

It sure was damn close! :dopey: I'll take your word for it though 👍 I don't think I would have been so close had I not totally botched the entry like I did. Easier said than done though :sly:
