Its just like the WRS now.. I understand. All of these rules are stupid. I just wanted to submit my TT time and thats it. :)
 
I just got done putting in my first 30 laps with this combo. And boy is the frickin chicane really starting to infuriate me! :crazy: If I could get through there half way decently I'd have a 43.xxx no problem. Instead I consistently go 4 tenths up prior to the chicane and throw it away through there nearly every time! On the first couple of laps I had no problem getting through there...it's only been down hill since then. I really don't get it :rolleyes:. I guess I just need to take a break and come back later 👍 My best so far is a 1'44.138.
 
First post has been updated, no changes apart from font size change and changing all names to ripping_silk, instead of markyboy92.
 
I had another go at it..its going to take a lot to get in the '43's. I am close..Its a clean lap, 1'44.167

I turned on Traction control, that seems to give me a little more leg up..If I was in a real race with this car, I would burn the tires up in 3 laps..

EDIT:

1'43.975 Lots of work to do yet.

I think I will turn TC off to see if I can go faster..

Yeh I did that....on level 3...it makes the whole thing alot easier and no slower - managing 1.45s offline. - going to try looking at a 6axis replay to see how it's done properly

Don't forget to save your best lap replay guys. Those will be needed to be posted here. Anyone will be able to check them(like WRS) and say whether they are clean, if they are dirty, we need a second opinion. All times are to be sent by PM to mad94d or ripping_silk and all replays are to be posted here. Times need to PM'ed before the deadline, replays are posted after deadline within 24 hours. This is just a reminder basically.

ripping will be doing results and points, I will continue posting races.

EDIT: btw, these rules changes now allow holl01 to compete.👍

Hey, ran 3 sessions yesterday and completed a clean lap of 1'42.668, it was a solid lap time and the final chickane was timed perfectly, something I only managed once after 5 or so hours at it!

To say that this combo is difficult is an understatement, but with persistance, it becomes a rewarding one. video posted shortly
 
Incredible time Dan. 👍 I knew a massive amount of time could be shaved off the original leadboard time. Great job mate!

Great time Dan.👍 You can now submit that time due to the rules allowing you to. You just have to post the replay here so we can check it.👍 I'll have to try and get close to it.

I should think that is not very fair to those who have submitted their times within the deadline.

I guess not:lol: with the skills holl01 possesses, he'll catch up to the leaders quickly and probably knock me out of getting points:lol:
 
holl01's times from previous weeks can't be included. If he does submit in the rest of the rounds he will probably catch up pretty quick.
 
Dan's lap is that good it makes me feel like a unco knob........ embarrassing is an understatement.
 
Please dont let him into the championship :lol:

he Dan,great lap dude...but 5 hours??...pffff,wish i had that amount of time available...will try everything to catch up as much as possible though....amazing lap!!👍

lost 0.5 on T1, gained like a second on the rest of the lap than last time i tryed.
 
Man, I know 1'42 is possible..wow...

1'43.382 I will get a 42...

BTW SPyrrari, you were right, TC slows you down.. This run was without TC.. Thanks. :)

I had a 43.4xx on the way and then threw it away at the chicane like always :lol:

Of course my 43.9 was way off pace threw the infield, yet I magically made it threw the chicane without any issues :rolleyes: If it's not one thing it's the other :scared:

I missed up at the bus stop again too, too slow entering, but I smoked 'em exiting.. (Spyrrari..)

Finally im starting to put together some decent times but on that lap i still lost 0.25 on T1 and ran quite wide on another corner.
