After spending a WEEK AND A HALF trying to do the 2 DDR inspired missions, and still being NOWHERE NEAR beating them (the Beach party one requires 3000! I average about 700 to 800 the MOST I ever got was 950. The Jumpin' car one may only require 1000, but I only ever average in the high 700's), and having done lots of the tags and got royally pissed of trying to do the Taxi missions while being SHOT AT. So here I am stuck solidly with less than 10% of the game complete. So it's going back, possibly as a trade for something else. It's a shame I really enjoyed the other 2. I managed all the story-line and only got really really stuck late on the additional missions, but thanks to a crappy idea by R* this one has finished for me almost before it's got started.

Don't give up man. I didn't pass that mission at first, but I didn't give up and now I beat the game.

What? You're giving up? Returning the game? Are you nuts? Surely you can find someone who doesn't have it and can't find it in a store to sell it to for more than you paid for it (:

well if you suck that bad thats your own problem.

You could be like me and just ... not ... try ... (:

I mostly drive around and destroy things. It would be so much better if it were online / multiplayer.

Its not worth returning it. There is going to be plenty of great upcoming missions. Just keep on trying and you'll be saying its easy.

Don't give up man. Quitting sucks. "Quitters never win and winners never quit". I've quit on things, but they were more important than some game. If you quit. It will eat away at you. I just bet that later on you'll want it back.

AT FIRST! I have been trying most evenings for OVER A WEEK, I am just no good at this style of thing.
One thing I have always liked about the GTA series is that there is usually more than on way to do a mission (Finding it difficult to shoot someone, then try running the ****er over in your car, or maybe use a different gun and wipe out everyone in a 50 yard radius) this breaks away from this concept, it's driving me mad.

i found the game way to easy i was out of los santos the first 4 days, i am actually disapointed in how easy it is. i hope they fix this on the next one.

If you're having that much trouble with the DDR style missions, get a friend over and let them have a go at it. Hopefully you know someone who's coordinated enough to do the DDR missions.

Yeah, try this.

Just press the buttons or push the analogue stick in the direction it says as the image passes over the little yellow circle. If you really cannot beat these either get your eyes tested, learn you left, right, up and down or stop smoking the drugs I saw you stash in your pocket as you entered GTP today. They are my only tips as I really cannot see what's so hard with following simple instructions on a screen.

Don't give up dude, the rest of the game awaits you!

Don't be a fool.

Don't return it.

Don't play it.

Set it on fire.

If your really stuck, and you have an X-port/Gameshark I can send you a save game with those missions done. DO NOT sell this game because of a few missions you cannot pass.

You're not serious, are you? It's not worth giving up San Andreas because of those couple of missions, stick it out! I got just under 6000 on my second attempt. My advice is to get a copy of the song for that mission (it's on the Bounce FM soundtrack) so you know how the beat goes and try it a few times. Believe me, it's not that hard.

Stick it out man! When you have those missions complete, it unlocks some normal GTA type missions with car chases, shooting bad guys etc. My advice is to suck it up and just keep trying. Those missions may be a pain in the ass but they're definitely not worth chucking it in for.

What he said... there aren't any more missions like that (that I've come across)-- just find someone thats got a little more rhythm to try it for you. I hated that mission too--took me about 8-9 times because I just had no idea which button does what. I finally learned the buttons and got a 4300... and if you fail you get to kill all the party-goers--pay-n-spray was probably put near there on purpose.

On my second attempt I got 5970. I must have natural rhythm or something!

I can understand people's frustration if you don't automatically the button locations though. I know where triangle, square, X, etc. is so I didn't really have to think about that mission, but if you didn't know I can see where it would be very frustrating.

I beat it first try. I memorized the buttons a long time ago. Very easy.

I couldn't beat the first lowrider contest (when you meet Cesar) so got my younger brother to do it. :( I'm no good at that sort of thing.

If you can't memorize four shapes, San Andreas should be the least of your worries.

Gee... was it that hard? The first time I've done it I got a 5017 and passed the mission... And that was with messing up the complicated parts... Now thanks to Denise (God~ I hate when she asks to go to the dance club) I get at least 6000 points on that crap... The button scheme is confusing (They could at least use the d-pad... It would be easier to manage) but I don't think it is that hard...

Haha, Denise dumped me. :D

I don't want a girlfriend in real-life so why have one in a game?

Dude .. if you honestly can't beat those missions I feel sorry for you. They're some of the simplest missions in the game. I have no rhythm whatsoever and they were easy. All you have to do is know which buttons square, triangle, circle, and x are and hit the buttons when they begin to enter the circle. Its not that hard and there's no way in hell that it is worth returning the game over. C'mon man, stick it out. Don't wuss out over that!

Don't take it back. I was frustrated with the dance mission for Og loc for awhile too. I kept trying until I got it and managed to get a score well over 5000. Don't even watch the action above the button sequence. It's only a distraction. You'll get them eventually.

Yeah don't sell it dude its an awesome game, if you've got so far on the other 2 games then im sure you can manage the DDR missions.
If we all had the same attitude, EB games would have been swamped with refunds, when we got upto the Zero RC missions.

^Some nice posts. 👍

Anyways, after you beat the Lowrider DDR misson, has anybody went back and bet $1000 and won? THAT is pretty tough. I couldn't win; I only tried once, but I was way off. This is where the D-pad would come in handy! ;)

I found the one for ceaser easy, just push the stick in the direction it says when it enters the circle. The OG Loc one I had a bit of trouble with because I used (don't any more because of it) to think that the circle and square buttons were swapped, then other times I didn't, so that totally screwed me up. But I got it after about 6 goes. Whatever you do DON'T take it back!

I completed both of them first time out... but I went back and had a go at the lowrider meeting and the dude beat me right at the end and I lost me some wonga!!

Tips that I've heard... say each button as it comes up... hold the controller in front of the screen so you can see both it and the buttons and then you should be able to get it... and for the lowrider one the arrows are a lot easier than the buttons...

Another tip is learn that X is down. O is right [] is left and ^ is up... then it will make it easier.
