Here's my tips, that I've given everyone that has had trouble with these missions and they have passed them.

First of all, don't listen to the music, especially in the Lowrider mission. It really isn't a great guide. Secondly, don't get distracted, and don't try to look at him while he's dancing just to see what it looks like.

Now with both of the missions, the only way to do this is to hit the buttons when the Arrows or Buttons on screen hit the middle of the circle. Don't try to anticipate. Hit them when they are in the middle of the circle. I can't stress this enough.

Secondly, make sure you concentrate hard. Look at each button just before it comes through, and keep doing so.

I just can't stress enough to wait for the Guiding Button to hit the MIDDLE of the circle. And do not use the Music as a guide.

Try this. If not, get a friend to help.

If you are taking S.A back why don`t you pick up Britneys Dance Mat Game or
maybe the Pop Idol Game then you could have a good dance around on that
Stupid mats.This Might make things a bit better.I have to agree those levels are
pants when all people want to do is blow stuff up.

Im sure nearly everyone must have played DDR or similar at least once in their life. Or at least seen someone play it. And after years of solid gaming I dont see how you can know the button placements, it's second nature.

The Beach Party isn't that difficult. (At least, not for me )

I got more than 5000 on my first attempt and more than 7000 on my second one. (It was for my brother, he wasn't able to do it too.)

After spending a WEEK AND A HALF trying to do the 2 DDR inspired missions, and still being NOWHERE NEAR beating them (the Beach party one requires 3000! I average about 700 to 800 the MOST I ever got was 950. The Jumpin' car one may only require 1000, but I only ever average in the high 700's), and having done lots of the tags and got royally pissed of trying to do the Taxi missions while being SHOT AT. So here I am stuck solidly with less than 10% of the game complete. So it's going back, possibly as a trade for something else. It's a shame I really enjoyed the other 2. I managed all the story-line and only got really really stuck late on the additional missions, but thanks to a crappy idea by R* this one has finished for me almost before it's got started.

What I'm wondering about the most is - here in DK, you can return basically anything, if it doesn't work.. I don't think there's anywhere in danish law it says that you can return something that's working but you can't figure it out.....

"HEY - YOU... I wanna return this iron.. My shirts are more wrinkled after I've ironed them - It's your fault"..

"HEY - YOU.. This breadmaker isn't working - The bread is all fubar", "Did you remember to put baking powder in ?"... "I'm telling you it's BROKEN.. I'm not supposed to bring baking powder"

Flerbizky it's not the law or anything but you can usually take anything back, as long as you have a believable explanation. Big chains are usually ok as staff don't really care enough.

I have found out though that the 'never wanted' code for my Action Replay works when you fly off to the other parts of the state, So I can go and cause mayhem all round the state. Yay (in between attempting to do these two missions)

That's good, but you should still attempt the missions. They're good, and you'll get alot of enjoyment out of the game once you pass these missions. Use the advice given to you for these missions.

I beat it first try. I memorized the buttons a long time ago. Very easy.

Same here, for both missions. I've played a lot of Parappa though...

But I did go back to do the non-mission lowrider one again for $1000 and lost in a huge way. It's much harder!

Anyone who have trouble with these two DDR missions, should have a go at "calibrating the lightning towers" in Final Fantast X-2, now THATS A KILLER

I can see how people can't do these missions as they are musically retarded and have the coordination skills of a woman driver, but... well what can i say to follow that. Just play the game.

Numerous times I've felt like ripping the disc out of the PS2 and smashing it over the face with a sledgehammer, especially when I only had 2 seconds left on the clock and they managed to destroy the last transmitter. Instead I opted for the clichè 'throw-controller-around-room'.

I felt your pain. I punched my bed's metal part, I was so goddamn frustrated. I would get to like 3 seconds left every single time, and they would destroy the last one. I finally finished it and I danced a jig, ala "The Last Boyscout".

I use that similar method. Sometimes multiple applications are necessary for complete satisfaction. Ahhh good times.
on a side note: Mediaman if you hate the button missions in GTA:SA then dont ever play "The URBZ: Sims in the city"

Managed to do the 'jumping car' one finaly, but the beach party is a entirely different matter.
I have never really thought of the buttons as 'cross' 'square' 'triangle' and 'circle' I just automatically map them to 'fire' 'run' etc. in my head. so unlike on the other mission where I was just plain late with the correct input. On this I am usually hitting tottaly the wrong button.

gah! why couldn't this be mapped to the d-pad.

Turn the control pad upside down and use the buttons instead of the D-Pad... and remember that X is up Triangle is down, Circle is left and square is right...

I hate that 'beach party' mission as well - if i wanted to do this sort of thing i'd play Parapper the rapper instead!
