Have you tried all of our tips? Honestly?

Listen to this one especially: WAIT for the cue to get in the VERY MIDDLE of the Circle before moving the analog stick. DO NOT pre-determine where it will be by the time the Lowrider gets up. WAIT FOR IT to hit the VERY MIDDLE.

Now take that advice and keep trying.

He's done the lowrider mission... it's the Beach one that he's stuck on!!

Oh. I found that easier. Block out everything. Also, take the tips I gave you before, they apply to all of the DDR-type games.

just press the button when its in the centre circle, use two fingers for the controler so you can press thebuttons faster.

I find that watching both the symbols at the bottom of the screen AND getting the beat of the song gets me good scores in these missions. I can regularly get 6000 - 7000 in the Dance mission on songs I've never heard before because I pay attention to the rhythm and beat of the song and just hit the button marked on the bottom of the screen.

I don't listen to the beat, because there are some moments when a beat happens and you don't have to press a button. And also the fact you're concentrating on something as well as concentrating on what button to press. It's a rare skill you have there to be able to improve yourself using that technique KM.

I think different people have different ways of doing it. Some people can time their button pressing visually with the button icon passing the circle at the bottom of the screen and can get really scores doing it that way.

I use that only as a guide as to what button to press. I try to hit the button with the beat of the song and it works well for me. I watch both the bottom of the screen and listen to the song. I find it a good combination to use.

But whatever floats your boat man! :) I don't think either method is working for poor Mediaman though.

Yeah, I can't ignore the beat - I'm too musical. I ignore the circle, and just use the symbols to tell me which button's next in the rhythm. I had no probs with the beach mission, but for a while I was only passing about half of my dancing dates. I did some practicing, and found a technique that works for me.

Instead of a sharp jab at the button, I do a smooth 'swiping' motion across the button. Like someone stuck a booger on there, and I'm just trying to wipe it off in time with the music. The scoring seems less fussy when I do it this way. I don't get anymore red 'bad dancing' messages, and I get lots of yellow 'super dancing' messages.

You gotta know where the buttons are without thinking about it, but I raised my dance scores from ~3000 to a consistent 8000+. I've broken 9000 a couple times...

After spending a WEEK AND A HALF trying to do the 2 DDR inspired missions, and still being NOWHERE NEAR beating them (the Beach party one requires 3000! I average about 700 to 800 the MOST I ever got was 950. The Jumpin' car one may only require 1000, but I only ever average in the high 700's), and having done lots of the tags and got royally pissed of trying to do the Taxi missions while being SHOT AT. So here I am stuck solidly with less than 10% of the game complete. So it's going back, possibly as a trade for something else. It's a shame I really enjoyed the other 2. I managed all the story-line and only got really really stuck late on the additional missions, but thanks to a crappy idea by R* this one has finished for me almost before it's got started.

yea same here i'm stuck on tht lowryder mission whre u need 2 press the right key at a time, and same with the beach party

The bad news is that the Lowrider one is the easy one, 'cos you can just push the analogue stick in the direction it gives, no need to think (up arrow on screen=move stick up). On the Beach Party one you also have to have memorised the order of the input buttons (PS2 version, Square on screen=think which is the square=push square).
I never got it done, I ended up using ARMAX to get on with the rest of the game.

What my friend said he should have bought. He used a normal Action Replay for SA, and found out later that the MAX did everything he wanted.

1st, he bought it to get to other cities, infinite health, etc., and found out 2 days later there were codes like that for free on the web that didn't need an AR.

(On the PS2) The Max comes with a better app where you can move saves from the Memory card on the a USB stick, then on to a PC, and vice versa. So I have my un-altererd save backed up.
You also don't need the AR memory card in the PS2 all the time.

I have never honestly heard about someone complaining about the difficulty of a GTA mission there easy. Except for those toy plane ones those took a while.
