^^^ because for some god awful reason people believe since we are "comparing" that is has a place here...yea...it goes over my head too, makes no sense....it's just clutter.

On another note.

I'm excited about enthusia, about as excited as I am for forza, which is decently excited, lol. Though it won't see nearly as much PT as GT4, it will be awesome to play, I just hope the physics PLAY as good as the LOOK. (funny since most people yell at me for assuming things about forza's physics based on videos...yet we are all assuming things about the physics in this based on a video...I'm confused :))

Actually all my excitement for the game has been created from all the acclaim the game has been recieving from not only proffesional race drivers but also from experts in the automotive industry. Also most people excited about Forza is due to the demo that they have played.

um...anyone can pay anyone?

I don't listen to other peoples opinoins, because that my friend, is marketing.

I'd let a video speak more than the opinion of someone else who is clearly paid to say nothing negative...would you expect him to say "this game blows @$$ chunks"?....
 
We still don't know what that tuning is going to be like. I don't think it's going to be anything like GT's tuning, where you can just beef up a car and power your way through any race you please. Considering the phrase "skilled driving always remains the key" means your car won't be any more powerful than those you're racing against.

I wouldn't get too hyped up about super-tuning your cars.. you'll probably only end up disappointed when the tuning options amount to changing suspension settings and gear ratios and not much else.

Me, I've become quite the anti-tuner lately.. I much prefer my cars stock. Very few of my GT4 cars will have any sort of mods or tuning done to them. And the ones that do will only be for fun, not for racing.

THe race drivers that I know have no affiliation with Konami at all and do you really think that the experts interviewed on Konami's site were paid? I would imagine Mazda has very close ties with PD and the Forza team. Both Simizu and Kurosawa have a reputation they must maintain for the sake of their jobs.

well, Gan San actually mentioned some things that can be improved on. Like i think he mentioned the lag when shifting, and things like that.
 
Enthusia has no tuning. That sucks tuning is my favorite part of Gran Turismo.

I said the same thing a page before when someone said Enthusia had no tuning :P
 
It's an easy enough mistake to make, since earlier reports from Konami said something along the lines of "Enthusia has no tuning". The idea that it does have tuning of some sort is fairly recent.
 
Jeez I meant that as a question. :dopey: Not a definitive statement. Like Enthusia has no tuning? That sucks
 
Just heard from Konami that their wheel will not be released in the US but recomended that I could import from Japan. Still waiting to hear if the US version will support their wheel.
 
the Enthusia wheel appears to spin faster... but that could be beacuse it doesnt have FFB. If it has FFB and still spins faster than the GT4 wheel, i will kill myself. :scared: . I dropped my life savings (150 bucks) on this damn wheel for a game that hasnt even been released in my country yet. :dunce:

It will probably pain even more to know that you could have from the beginning and still can get the DFP for $112 shipped(US).

On Ebay? I haven't seen a retailer with that price. Where'd you get yours? I'd really like to get one.
 
saw that gamespot trailer earlier today, it's the first time a trailer features car sounds... but they sound SO good, it makes you think they are just taken from the real car and then edited into the video... but then you take a look at the camera angles and you realize this is probably real... if the game engines sound like that... i'm impressed. very convincing sound, only the Audi R8 has sound in the trailer, but man, it sounds amazing.
GT4 made lots of improvements in the sound department, including pseudo improved car sounds, improved tyre sounds (but there's still room for improvment as good as they are.), wind noise, tyre noise and that's about it.. the transmision sound in GT4 sucks, and the exhaust sounds aren't too convincing sometimes, the engine sounds are ok.. but they are missing something, they don't sound as "throaty" as they should.. in that enthusia video... they sound just like the real thing, i can't wait to see if those are actual in game sounds. or just edited for the video.
 
I have a feeling GT4's going to have a big contender here. Look at the cars Enthusia will have.

Enthusia will feautre a F1 GTR short tail now. And the from the videos, this looks like the short tail that made McLaren famous for Le Mans.

Good choice.
Enthusia may come out on top ahead of GT4 and Forza. But I know I'll be buying all 3. It'd be a crime if I didn't.
 
I went back to the video and checked the sound! OMG that is just pure insanity, I would trather have 200+ cars with 100% real sounds than 750 with most of them generic sounds!

I still love GT, but I ve been waiting too long and now im just not psyked about it anymore!
Enthusia is giving me that funny feeling i got when i first heard gt4 was coming, but enthusia is coming reaaal soon. And GT4 isnt! :(
 
Wow, that video looked great! If this game comes out before GT4, I'll get this and wait for GT4 to go on sale. And, it looks like that's going to happen.

Oh, I got a little to excited when I seen this. I god a car nearly identical to that, even down to the colour. Since I race the beast on the track myself I can's wait to use it in the game. Anywise the tracks and the cars in this game look better than GT4 and more realistic than any game I've seen yet. Like the fact the got no spectators at all and instead they got dynamic weather and lighting. I don't know how many cars this game will have in it but the tracks are so realistic it's mind-blowing. Nurburgring is in it too. As long as this game has 2 player/LAN mode with garage cars and saveable full screen replays I’m so buying it.

That new video was great. A lot of drifting in there. I'm really glad to see that as I was scared you may not be able to drift in this game.

For you guys that say you haven't been waiting for Enthusia. Well, you have. We simply didn't know about it till march of last year, that's all. I bet it's been in development as long as Forza has. Konami just kept it quite because they saw what a huge mistake PD made with announcing GT4 and not delivering.
