When it comes to realism, for me, RBR pwns all.
I'm looking foward to the uber realism Enthusia is supposed to have. The GT4 Creator or someone from SOny said that Enthusia would be so realistic that it wouldnt be fun.

The great thing about RBR is that it is so easy to screw up, Totaling your car at the 1st turn is not unheard of... Well, im just really really looking forward to Enthusia, as everyone else here is. And I'm just annoyed with waiting for GT4 for so long. But i will still buy GT4 the day it comes out in the US. :dopey:

C'mon GT blind fanboy, prove your point with screenshots from GT and not with some other games screenshot. Of course you are ashame to show a screen dump with just 2 lousy dials.

And if you can't reply my original question about Enthusia inside view, just say so instead of crawling in front of PD ( and here I'm polite ) and sayng amen to all their negative points

They do?!?!?! Firstly, WRC games (aint played 4 though tbh, can't see it breaking the trend though) are crap. Secondly, go play GTR.

GTR's driver cam is the BEST, along side GPL's if you ask me. Both are utterly brilliant.

Whoa, I havent been called a GT fanboy in quite a while. First of all, the use of a WRC3 and GTR screen was only meant for a refference as to what I was talking about not about the games as a whole. I love GTR and I am fully aware you can adjust the view, I was not picking on GTR, I could have grabbed a cockpit view of some other NASCAR game to show my point which was that seeing too much of the cockpit is not realistic and provides many irritating blindspots. In most cases its what you would see if you were in back seat peering over the front seat. If you take a frame that is 'Virtually' the size of your monitor/TV and then place that frame in your real car maintaining the same perspective what would you see through that frame?...your steeringwheel? gear shift, dials? In my case all I see is the top of the dash, wipers, hood and support bar on the right. That is why I feel the cockpit view in WRC3/4 is the most realistic.
 
If you really want a good in car view, this is one! It's from LFS S1.

You can adjust the view (closer to the window or further away from the window, even so far you see your lakes and arms.)
You can choose left or right side of the car.

That gtr screen --> where are the hands :ouch:

This one has it all, the only thing that is missing is when you shift or pull the e-brake the hand doesn't go of the steering wheel. But you can't get everything.

yeah, LFS offers an awsome amount of customization. You can even make your own view. 👍
 
Enthusia? why on earth have I never heard of this game before now? Whens it out?

Note: Not bothered to read the other pages.... sorry... but from the looks of things this game could be goodl...Forza, GT4 and now this... oh dear looks like I need some more money then lol
 
Is there a concrete NA release date for Enthusia? I've seen 8th March banded about a few places but several sites have no date (some don't even have the game!?). Anyway, any ideas?

nope. not right now anyway. Gt4 comes out this month, so it shouldn't be a painful wait. :lol:
 
The game is complete and was submited to Sony for final approval. Its is set to make the original March 8th date but it seems like it will be pushed back to May to avoid being marketed so close to GT4's release date. Here's hoping they go ahead and challenge the giant face to face.
 
Well, the March date is only for Japan, and GT4 will have been out over two months at that time, so they'll be free to release it whenever they wish. I assume the same will hold true for the NA release as well. By the time it goes through translation, localization, and quality control, it'll probably be around May.. months after GT4's debut. While GT4 may still be selling quite well, it won't be at the top anymore.. all the die-hards will buy it in the first week.

How is it that you know that? Even if you're right, no one outside of SCEA would be privy to that information. There have been no announcements, no release dates (save for Japan), nothing.
 
There is no solid release date since Konami's site says spring. Gamestop and outpost.com have May 4th while everyone else is still at March 8th. I dont have any official document to provide but a source from Konami who worked on the devopment team says Enthusia for US has gone gold for Sony approval. After Sony runs it through the aproval process, which takes about a week, Enthusia would go gold for distribution. It was submited to Sony over a week ago so it should be ready for the press. Any delay would be due to marketing strategy.

But in a developer interview he says US version will be spring, so that could mean april to may :)
 
All I'm saying is "don't jump to conclusions". We've all spent the last year jumping at conclusions about GT4, and it wasn't until this very week that all those questions were finally answered. And now, here we are again, doing the same damn thing with Enthusia.. taking little bits of data from many different sources, putting them all together to come up with what is, most likely, the wrong conclusion.

I much prefer to wait for official announcements, rather than succumb to well-wishing. Personally, I don't care when Enthusia comes out. I'll most likely buy the game as soon as it's available, whenever that may be. But I have other things to keep me occupied in the meantime.

No not too painful :crazy: after waiting a year!
Anyway, I wonder if I can play the Japanese version with Swap Magic? Is the game DVD-9 like GT4?
