Enzo or McLaren F1

No mclaren ever hit 390km/h down the mulsanne straight. There's no track in the game with the sort of straights the F1 set its record on (Ehra-Lessien) and the record breaking car was a prototype with its rev limiter removed.

But it's certainly not so bad that car just stops revving after 345 km/h somewhere in the beginning of the straight and then keeps it all those long kilometers. This is just strange.

I have both, and their both a handful to drive without aids. But if ur into drag alot, u need the Enzo on ur team, the topend is just crazy, only some veyrons, X1s, and so far only one viper has beaten me, and to be honest I was catching the viper but he stopped and left the room.

After reading this thread i did some laps around Indy in the American Championship and got myself and F1 as well .

Love it so far and that cockpit is indeed EPIC!👍

I think i will just give it the full suspension and gearbox and some racing tyres and leave the rest as it is.

Or should i get wings on it as well?

So I was wondering to get wings right...... last night i just put on some racing medium tyres (everything else still completely stock apart from the oil change) and took it out on the 'Ring. My goodness this car is awesome and sooo much fun to drive there👍. I got a 6.59 out of it rather easily and that is like 20 seconds faster than my time with the SLS on the AMG challenge (although that of course has traffic)

All in all... I will keep it without wings for a while now since it's so much fun to drive and i have some other cars if I would need to grind. This one will be just for pleasure . I'm not even sure if I should get the full suspension and gearbox now...

I favor my McLaren F1 over my Enzo, and it's not even remotely close for me; completely one-sided in the F1's favor.

I wish the Enzo had been the FXX instead, though. That's a fantastic thing to drive.

Both cars are a must have, however the F1 is a fair bit faster in game, though i'd suspect in real life it would be the other way around, i'd expect the Enzo to be slightly better on a track. In game i found the 458 Italia to be faster than the Enzo.

But like i said, you need both cars!

It's all about controllability. Even F430 Scuderia was faster on some tracks than Enzo and it was claimed by Ferrari itself.

Well, I can agree with that, Enzo needs some serious suspension tweaking.

I have a dilemma, I like to have my cars stock, specially this kind of cars, would you consider an Enzo with fully customizable suspension to be stock still? No other mods but the suspension.

458 and the Enzo will run very close times at the top gear track, but the 458 is much easier to drive, the Enzo wants to understeer a bit and isnt as good under braking, you really have to throw the Enzo around in certain ways to get the most out of it where as with the 458 it just seems to do exactly what you tell it, the much better handling makes up for the lower power in cases.

The Mclaren F1 however, that car in game is alot faster than both, has no understeer issues at all, nice under braking tho it will bite you hard on the throttle if you're not smooth, laptimes tho will be instantly faster than the Ferrari.

But as i said, both are must have cars.
