wow, arent' we a bunch of morons!!! lol.

I just reread that first post with the word changed to escalators.........just like you guys said, it makes complete sense.

I don't think he meant escalades at all.
Notice he said customize "him" not "it".
He's talking about the guy you can control and walk around the cars in the garage to select your car!

DUDES! I feel like I have the iq of........um.......10

Half of the cars in GT are not meant for racing. They have decided to put Civics and other grocery getters in the game then why not SUVs?

I really wouldn't mind if they add SUV's into the game. With that said, I would like PD to implement rollovers into the physics engine. I assume that if you take the Cadillac and slide it around a race track, it would probably tip over. Still there are some SUVs that can apparently handle quite well. There was a Fifth Gear episode where Tiff Needell took time trials of the Porsche Cayenne S and the BMW X5. To my surpise he was even able to powerslide the X5 at the end of the segment.

Still, even though I don't mind having SUVs in the next Gran Turismo, I would rather have more racing cars in the game. Someone mentioned earlier that he would much prefer the DBR9 over an SUV. I prefer the racing car as well. As for the Escalade, I'd definitely like it better if PD puts in the Cadillac CTS instead of their SUV.

their was a dodge ram pickup and that thing had monster bodyroll i think i got a video of the monster body woll i got it to get one side almost bottemed out lol

I think we should have.............an Iveco Transporter lorry!! :dopey:

what i do think, is there should be some Van racing :D, Transits, Berlingo, 206 van, Mercedes one, Vw one....could make for interesting racing, and after the Transit on the nurburgring in Top gear, you cant say they cant be raced and arent fast :D

Ha! Hahahahahha!!!! I can see it now, theyre will be a whole new tune shop next to the Japanese tuners, West Coast Customs! No turbochargers, brake kits, or weight reductions, only the stereo shop, oversized chrome exaust with flamethrowers, and spinner wheel mods! We can have an SPL competition in the extreme racing hall! A funkmaster flex car show competition at GT auto! How about a hydraulics bouncing face off! Blahahahahahahhaahahahaha!!!!!!

I'm not opposed to having SUV's in the game, but I agree, it will need proper rollover physics and for gods sake, no pimping! This is a racing game! Go buy NFSU2 or one of those other Dub edition arcadey games. If you want your dude to walk around the garage, get GTA. These games already exist, they don't belong in GT5!

Can anyone say Ford Supervan?

Ford Supervan 1 2 and 3, and the rally can, plus the Volkswagen Caddy race vans ive seen in the volkswagen championship :D

Escalator and escalade....hmmm...they are silimar words, but it takes a moron to mix them up

but walkabout garages would be a waste of time

Yeah, Escalades, what a great idea :dopey: . While we're at it, lets include Hummers, Ford Super Duties, Jeeps, Land Rovers, heck lets include Mack trucks, 18 wheelers, even M1A1 Tanks, and School Buses. Too bad all those trucks would suck on every track. That is until PD decides to add a "Rock Crawl" race to its rally events, not effin likely. However, if you want to have those trucks in a true racing game, then PD should have realistive roll over characteristics, something not present in GT4, like when you're driving the Dodge Ram :yuck: .

I know that it wasn't meant to be, but that actually sounds fun & challenging.
Racing Semis and tanks. Seriously. It'd be incredibly difficult to master, but I'd have fun trying! :dunce:

'Go, Speed Racer! Just go.'
