In no way can you justify hacking... It's the Internet equivalent of me opening your mailbox with a crowbar and reading your mail.. Would you like that ?...X-OthermicWell, hacking's really two moral standpoints, if you can justify it then what's wrong with it?
DukeWhite Hats and Black Hats. White hats are indeed ethical. I helped my old boss manage a small business network for a while. One morning we found an unknown Word document on our main server volume. It was written by a stranger who had gotten into our server. He politely described exactly how he did it, and made recommendations for how we should increase our security.
A Black Hat would have just trashed several hundred thousand dollars worth of CAD files and design documents on the off-chance we hadn't backed up recently.
Try the books I recommended earlier. Especially the first one if you want some tips...Small_FryzHaving done a few courses on Network Administration, i would like to know how to Hack as to better secure networks. I would indeed be interested in such a course.
In respond to what post ?...keefAt least you don't have to worry about being hacked--your firewall will literally destroy the attacker. Are those weapons registered? Do you really trust a computer to handle live-ammo firearms?
keefIn response to your avatar. It was supposed to be funny, Mr. Serious.
Of course not, the world of "hats" isn't black or white, just like the rest of the world..keefAnyhow, I'm sure not all Black Hats are out to steal something, though it makes sense to do so. There are plenty out there that just like to mess things up, not realizing that the new computer they ordered from Alienware will be delayed because they just detroyed CAD files for the design of the case or something.
